I think I read somewhere that if you have stuff in your "My Documents" on Win10 the contents is shared with OneDrive, so basically anything you have there Microsoft has too.

Pretty sure other aspects of your file system is safe though, because otherwise every corporation in the world would descend upon Microsoft and legally rape them for digging their company secrets and breaking every NDA.

i did, i turned off updates through registry, there is some weird shit running in the processes sometimes. 1 process in particular that pops up sometimes that eats 30% cpu but after i disable it it through registry the windows isnt legit.... watermark pops up. i disabled a lot of shit in the windows settings after installing and i dont have any problems at all with w10

I noticed a while ago that Windows downloaded an update for my Win7 and Win8.1 PCs that completely broke Windows Update. It couldn't download any new updates, and took 100% of the power of the first CPU core at all times. I had to do some ridiculous workarounds using PowerShell direct forced downloads to get the system to install the new updates, and now the update application works normally again. If I was paranoid I'd think that Microsoft deliberately sabotaged legacy operating systems to force an upgrade.
