Shouldn't digital versions be a lot cheaper than physical?

Shouldn't digital versions be a lot cheaper than physical?

No.

They do the same thing, so no.

shouldn't you post more cowtits?

But digital version does not include many of the cost factors of physical version.
Yes.

Yes.

Post more cowtits

Yes but gamers are gullible and let corporations get away with it

That doesn't really matter.

The most important factor is what consumers are willing to pay.

Cowtits

I'm glad you're ok to pay the same for less.

- Suckers are still willing to pay physical price for digital product.
- Retail stores would flip the fuck out; a good chunk of people still buy retail or they will at least see your product on the shelf and remember it when they're browsing Steam or Amazon.

I'm not since I don't really place an value on a disc and plastic case.

Physical retail games don't even have cool manuals to flip through on the shitter anymore. The only reason I still buy physical is because I can get them cheaper through Amazon.

Capitalism is good for you, goy!

>No more cool manuals
I feel consumers should have reacted harder when this shit became the norm

At least give us a free artbook or something.

yes but they're greedy

Physical copies are dust collectors. Use it once and have to download half the game in updates anyway.

Dunno why they should give a shit about useless manuals. They only served a purpose back when tutorials weren't a thing and the art in the manual was better than the graphics of the game.

>buy PS2 game
>fat manual that doesn't even fit in the box and a making of DVD
i miss the good ol days.

Gamestop lobby

And anyway, does panda not get any new shit anymore, or did xration not draw anything the last half a year?

>When tutorials wern't a thing
Maybe we should go back to that then.

no, since there's no incentive to get rid of overstock

>maybe we should make games worse so I have something to read on the shitter for five minutes and then never look at again.

>Tutorials make the game better
Now you're just talking out of you ass, no one likes a room where you do shit on a checklist so you can play the real game.

He releases his doujinshi on Comiket which is in August and end of December.

>skippable tutorials where you learn the mechanics in-game as they become relevant are worse than manuals.

It's like choosing to read a pamphlet instead of getting hands-on teaching from an expert; you'd be dumb to want the text.

>He

>Skippable tutorials
I'm fine with that, but the trend is usually unskippable

Alright, gents, we're going to need some more cowtits.

In an ideal world, yes. I don't tend to buy physicals unless they're a special edition or used at a lower cost. Though, on PC, I don't have much of a choice but to buy digital. I miss the days of big PC game boxes. Nowadays, physical PC games are just a Steam code in a box, or if you do get a DVD, you have to download like 30-50GB extra anyway.

They are. We call them "sales" where you can pick up games for a small percentage of the asking price.

Then maybe you should complain about that instead of the lack of manuals, which are completely worthless except for nostalgia-bait.

you're not buying the CD itself,
you're buying the copy of the original game data that's on it
so there isn't much difference between the two

Fine I concede, but the point was now there's now no point to get physical over digital, getting less now then before still sucks.

Reading some of those manuals and seeing the cool art was always fun.

I want to mating press this cow

>thinly veiled permavirgin anime porn

fucking pathetic

saged

Once upon a time that was the case

>calling others permavirgins on Sup Forums

>implying you need to be a no life foreveralone loser to browse the internet

Is this true?

Stop discussing this you idiots. The only thing they will do is add 10coins to the physical version.
-50 Points for hufflepuff!

cowgirls are for cowgirl

You're right. They should make the physical releases more expensive.

Yes. /thread
