How is kaiji so cute
fuck off homo
being gay isnt right
It's his youthful innocence
Also the big eyes
What happened to that Kaiji VR game? It was supposed to release in winter 2016 in Japan but I can't find any footage of it.
homefront
He hates it
I think it's vaporware user.
I've heard nothing about it at all
I finished season 1 last night, is season 2 as good?
TFW no kaiji figma
Why the fuck you asking here? Just watch it fool
he gonna die in the next chapter
rip
Hope you like pachinko.
god knows I do
it starts off good until the pachinko arc which drags pretty badly.
It's even better
Get to it user, before you get spoiled in this thread
In the process of doing that, man.
Balls entering holes was never this suspenseful
the two other guys will offer their lives
That's what makes it great for binge watching though
Fug
Asura's wrath
Classic dungeon crawlers and rougelikes that are actually like Rouge.
Fukumoto began to draw him with kawaii uguu eyes.
No TRIAD no buy. It's just not the same.
Ace Attorney is literally that.

Season 1 / part 1 of the manga (Espoir / Starside) has the best games in the series, the best villain, and the most heartwrenching scenes, so it's naturally a step down, but Season 2 / parts 2 and 3 are pretty good.
Minefield Mahjong (Part 4) would have been awesome in an adaptation but sadly it's only in pachinko machines so the hopes of the rest of the series getting adapted are dead. I would honestly recommend reading the manga because you're never getting the complete series as an anime (although the adaptation of part 1 is amazing)
Part 5 (Survivor Game) is the only arc I'd say is actually bad.
The Bog is better in the manga I think, the tension is easier to feel when it goes page by page.
The Bog will always be my favorite solely because of Kaiji and Ichijo breaking down and looking so fucked up by the end of it. I swear I'd never seen such an intense emotion expressed within an anime before, them crying and bawling was amazing.
I love the Bog arc, it's probably the best single game, especially with Endou coming in at the end. Kaiji managing to topple Tonegawa only to see him brutalized by Hyoudou after all the shit he goes through in Part 1 is still my favorite though.
I like the ending, however I felt it was more lackluster considering the cheating used by Tonegawa was kind of "basic" if you know what I mean, The Bog was cheating in a way so intricate that I really liked it and they actually had to process a lot of shit to successfully win.
Kaiji cutting off his ear and Tonegawa taking his punishment like a man are truly some of the absolute best moments though.
Zero part 3 FUCKING WHEN?
S O O N
It's okay to appreciate a man without being gay user
Source? I'm so excited.
Hopefully soon, Part 2 was an interesting story but honestly a let down after Part 1. I like Fukumoto's dangerous gambles with life and limb on the line, Part 2 just seemed like a long puzzle. But it was a good way to set up a more serious gamble later.
The first part of season 2 is pretty interesting, where Kaiji tries to escape hell. The rest of it, with the bog and all, isn't quite as interesting.
longest match in history
I lied, but I sure as hell hope he starts working on it since Akagi has an end date now
>Part 2 just seemed like a long puzzle.
Because that's exactly what it was supposed to be?
Yeah, my point is I read FKMT mangas for the gambles, not a big puzzle. Zero part 1 was much more what I expected and was hoping for.
I still can't believe it's over. I was so sure Akagi created a temporal anomaly and achieved immortality with this match.
The first three Resident Evil games fit this category, as does the Jake campaign in Resi 6.
I'm trying hard not to get spoiled here but my question is this: Should I just give up on reading the manga and just jump on the anime train?
I really wanted to read it but a few years ago I remember there being a literal chunk missing from the original story. Is that still the case? Should I just bite the bullet and check out the anime?
Watch the two seasons that exist and then read from there. You dingler.
S3 never
Okay guys best OP ざわ ざわ

Akagi:

imo it's Akagi...
I hate this fucking arc so much.
It wasn't skill, it wasn't luck, it was just bullshit.
Wait what the fuck? Is this a real game?
It's because he keeps retaining at least some semblance of hope. It makes him endearing, even if he's still a dumbass
such a dumbass. KAIJI STOP! this fictional japanese underworld is too brutal but dammit he perseveres
Reminder that he could've easily stopped after the E-Card arc but his blind justice to take down an old man with a peanut nose was what kicked off the rest of the series
That's cool. Are the live action movies any good? I like that Tatsuya feller even if his face is round as fuck.
>the tissue box
I'm still mad.
Eh. They're alright if you end up really liking the anime. They change stuff around and move VERY fast so it would be kinda bizarre if you watched them first or something
Nah I'm not going to do that, which is what I wanted to ask about the anime. Are there any major changes that will throw me off once I pick up where S2 ends? Really considering jumping into this now.
>Hating on the beam arc
off yourself
Ishita falling was one of the most emotional scenes in the manga/anime
what are some games with third installments
The anime's an amazing adaptation, which is why so many people recommend watching the first 2 parts rather than reading them
Nope. The adaptations were incredibly faithful and the Part 3 manga takes place right after where Season 2 cuts so you will miss nothing by watching then reading. Get ready for a real fun ride, m8
Thank you boys. Looks like it's time to get to work then.
Not him but I'm still pissed about Sahara's death. That was just plain unfair
If there was a S3, it would probably fail because normies aren't into Mahjong
Besides, it wouldn't be as good without the composer since he's in prison for posession of marijuana
Is anyone still translating Kaiji?
PREPARE FOR ZAWAS
You're not looking very hard if you can't find the newest scanlations of Part 5
fucking Japan man their drug laws are so fucked up. the music in Kaiji kicked ass
AN APACHE HELICOPTER
HE'S GOT AN APACHE HELICOPTER
Is Akagi's supposed to make me sad
ざわ・・・ざわ・・・ざわざわ
I want more Kaiji and Akagi so fucking much
>Watch 7 episodes
>they're still playing rock paper scissors
I was looking forward to a gambling anime, but this really wasn't for me.
I hear it as a calm before the storm kinda thing. especially with that end 'BAM' mahjong slam
you are just about to finish it man, keep it up.
dude the stakes are raised so high later on. keep watching. the RPS card game was introducing you to this bizarre cutthroat japanese underworld. it gets so good later
Restricted RPS was the worst game imo. It's over in two episodes though so stick it out and maybe you'll like the one after that
You really can't adapt the later parts into an anime. It becomes very underwhelming compared to the first 3 parts and is mostly just the protagonist and antagonist playing tennis with their dumb ideals. I've pretty much speed read through them because the dialogue was so pointless.
>Humans are greedy!
>No that's not possible!
I don't see the threads on Sup Forums so I don't know which group does them.
I gave up on it, but I'll give it another go I guess.
Thanks anons.
HERE COMES THE AIRPLANE! bato.to has all parts with Part 5 getting updated every week.
Wait it's actually fucking over? Is this real life?
shit dude just look it up on mangafox
>bato.to
Delicious, legit thanks though.
You have to make an account to have chapters for mostly anything actually show up but after that, it's smooth sailing.
