SO. It's my first play-through, I'm going to infiltrate the first palace. I figure it would be a good idea to infiltrate on the last day so I can max out all my other stats.. so I play ALL THE WAY through he first palace..and the damn game tells me we have to leave the palace in order to drop a calling card. SO naturally, I leave and I game over because it's the last day in the real world.
I'm so pissed, because this is poor game design to be honest. Why not warn me some how some way that i'd need an extra day to complete the task.. so i have to do it all over. most progress lost.
Joshua Martin
If you finish the palace on the first day you have all the rest of the given days to raise stats and work on social links.
Also you are given 16 save slots so you should always rotate saves
Jordan Cook
Don't procrastinate and then whine about the consequences
You had plenty of time. It's your fault you went out of your way to avoid progressing through the game
Hunter Jackson
I think most people with a brain would do it all on the first day then use the rest of your time for life stuff.
Oliver Collins
Calendar says the deadlines for calling card/treasure. Should have used it.
Angel Baker
It's more beneficial to do palaces ASAP and get them over with otherwise they block confidant progressions because your characters won't want to hang out and constantly tell you to go to the palace or send the card.
Brandon Clark
Hey OP you should read this spoiler . Since you're such a retard that you leave everything to last, you deserve it. I bet you're a normalfag who leaves everything to the last minute then bitches about it, right?
Logan Cruz
How the fuck can people make it to the end on the first trip? my SP was at zero by the time I got half way.
Jacob White
If you are smart you can cheese it with no SP at last as far as securing the route to the treasure. And at that point it's gonna send you back anyway so you'll have SP again for the main boss when you come back
Josiah Scott
The calendar gives you the deadlines for completing your objectives so its your own fault and its better to beat it early to grow your arcanas
Wyatt Rodriguez
>people say persona is casual as fuck compared to SMT >time management is harder than matador
Nicholas Ortiz
>Got told like everyday to hurry the fuck up >Late >HURR DURR NOT MY FAULT Try better nice time m8
Jackson Bell
The twist isn't that Akechi is the traitor, it's that the phantom thieves knew and were one step ahead the whole time
Levi Smith
SP management, my friend. Also ambushes.
Kayden Jones
Get Sensei to make coffee or curry for you every night.
Josiah Lopez
But wouldn't you be handicapping yourself? Plenty of people have been claiming it's best not to skip any fights so your team is strong and your levels are great.
I do nothing but ambush but SP doesn't last long when nearly everything is strong against melee or gun attacks.
Wait HE can make it for you? how?
Dominic Ramirez
Is there anything after the Kamyia Palace? Dont know if I should wait till the last day to get the treasure to upgrade the last social links
Josiah Sanchez
SHE can make it for you but not until much later in the game.
Also you don't have to go through every fight. Little things like scaring them away go a long way too. SP management becomes even more brutal on hard mode, which is what I'm assuming you're playing on.
Jeremiah Gutierrez
>But wouldn't you be handicapping yourself? Plenty of people have been claiming it's best not to skip any fights so your team is strong and your levels are great.
I never said anything about skipping a fight
I'm talking about doing fights despite having no SP. You can usually pull it off as long as the enemy doesn't repel or block Physical or Gun damage. Just wait for someone to land a critical, do All-Out-Attack, and done. Save often in case it goes to shit
Brandon Perez
>I figure it would be a good idea to infiltrate on the last day so I can max out all my other stats
haha man. i love that honest mentality of your typical procrastinator. always gotta worry about the most important stuff at the last minute.
you see, a normal person would try to get the important stuff done with as soon as possible, that will they have free time to do other things
Gabriel Young
>much later in the game
No help to me then as I've only just started exploring the demon subway
Alright I'll be more daring.
Easton Collins
friendly reminder that if you didnt reach the treasure of each palace in one day you are a disgusting casual
Charles Reyes
>Why not warn me some how some way The 80 texts warning you wasn't enough? Jesus you are dense. Besides you only have to go back a week the game gives you the option.
Anthony Allen
If you had bothered to look at your calendar it does warn you. You also get many warnings from your friends that you shouldn't put it off.
It's embarrassing that you made this thread
Evan Lewis
The beat you can do early game is to pelt weaknesses and ambush as much as possible. I believe there are vending machines in reality that give small SP recovery, which can help early on since your skills will use little SP. Using healing items in place of healing skills will also help in the long run.
Robert Richardson
Playing on merciless that just wasn't possible sometimes. Mainly the mid game ones, Kaneshiro's and Okumura's. Late game you have enough SP restoring options that it becomes easy again.
Thomas Bennett
Thanks for the tips user, going to leave now before spoilers.
Noah Green
Every single one of you morons who complain about this deserve losing data. In what world is it okay to procastinate until the last possible moment?
Gabriel Ward
You had absolutely no reason to assume that the dungeon would only take one day.
Hudson Gomez
The real one, dummy
Joshua Rivera
>he procrastinates IRL >doesn't finish all his work ahead of time to fuck off while watching normies suffer Come on now.
Leo Rodriguez
In the previous Personas of you went in early it timeskipped to the last day.
Eli Thomas
It did that once, in the December dungeon of P4, that's literally it
Jackson Scott
Fuck I only made it to the first save room in kaneshiros palace. Mostly because the enemies respawned so I fought most of them again. Its annoying when the enemies don't have any weaknesses.
Nathan Clark
Just use lucky punch.
Kayden Turner
The first dungeon is legitimately difficult since you don't have great persona or gear. Unless you're doing a perfect run following a guide, I would just split the first dungeon into at least 2-3 trips. The later dungeons will get a lot easier with more party members and items that replenish sp.
Asher Sanchez
>so I can max out all my other stats Grinding is the easy path for casuals
Landon Anderson
Use sleep. Ann gets it super early and so long as you only attack with party members who go after the enemy but before Ann they won't be able to attack and the technical damage will outweigh the heal. Multihitting moves will all get it too even though you'd think the first hit would wake them up.
Liam Mitchell
it told you to do it the day before the last day
Gavin Miller
Every person on the team warned you repeatedly to the point you can't even hang out with them in the last week, the calendar warned you, you didn't rotate saves just in case, and you didn't leave an extra day in case you fucked up and forgot something. Not to mention you lose nothing from doing dungeons immediately, none of the palaces fast forward if you beat them this time around. You did this to yourself by assuming that the palace takes one day. News flash: they take two minimum and several take three.
Caleb Young
It's ok when Persona does it.
Noah Russell
Holy fucking shit are you me, same thing just happened.
I'm just gonna probably fucking get a lot of coffee and start over tonight and get it over with.
