The game is clunky, slow and plays like an early MMORPG, I didn't think I'd end up liking it. The first few hours were atrocious, areas are BIG and empty, often filled with NPCs that have nothing interesting to say and enemies who just stand around waiting to be killed.

It's pretty faithful remake. In other words. Don't expect very much new things added in. Besides the new female MC added in.

Besides that. I liked the game. Transforming into the different animals was pretty neat. I liked the equipment stats change depending the form you're in so it's never truly set in stone. The redone OST was nice. I enjoy the hand-drawn look for it.

Also you can switch to the original graphics and sound anytime you want even in game by pushing a button. There's even an option to have the FM sound added in as well. Which is pretty neat.

Ive been playing BoI:Rebirth/Afterbirth, the game feels pretty easy compared to the original except when playing as "The Lost." That fucking character makes me want to quit video games entirely.

Not hard to read for me but there is a buttload of text at all corners so I wouldn't recommend it.

The game is fun but the characters aren't all that great yet and there are way too many to keep track of, and the story moves like snails despite being interesting.
