Depends if it still has those stupid missions and that floaty gameplay.
Only if it does pic related better
I could of have had a normal childhood if I had never found out about Sonic the Hedgehog. Goddammit.
>When you found out about Sonic as a teen and it made it slightly better, but thats not saying much.
>Half of the final bosses is Egg Dealer
I see what you mean
>egg dealer
is that like the guy who sells counterfeit eggs outside the mobius strip?
Yes
This. Shadow was a subpar game in execution but decently interesting on paper. It was actually pretty neat to take an amnesiac character like Shadow and basically control his actions to dictate the reality of his past. That's not the shittiest idea this series has had by any means. But it came at a time when Sonic Team was just shitting out whatever to see if it stuck and Shadow ended up with an identity crisis of neither committing to a 3D Sonic direction nor a traditional action adventure one. Shadow wasn't inherently poor, it was just misguided and unpolished. There's a decent game idea in there.
was there a route in that game that let the creatures basically run amuck on the planet? I think earth is due for one of those
Thats already a thing in real life, its called Black Lives "Matter".
NO MORE GODSNO MORE GRAVES
ok ya got me that made me chuckle real good.
i'd preorder it just for shits and giggles
I would. There's quite a lot of different things to do in ShTH. Gunplay is fun and allows you to interact with the environment from a distance. Keeping speed is difficult and therefore climactic (Unlike let's say Unleashed being fast all the time, making it routine and dulling the effect.). I keep liking it more every year. Amidst 3D it's only behind Colors (as though it counts) and Adventure now. Also SA2 on some days under a specific mood, when it's actually the best game in the series, but not normally.
Will there be guns?
The guns were out of place for Shadow. why use projectiles when you can go at supersonic speeds and use chaos energy. The combat should have focused on that. the "guns are cool" reason doesn't makes sense either since super powers are for the most part cooler than guns.
Unless you're Bayonetta
I love Bayonetta
yes. I liked the first one probably was the gamecube game I played the most single player
Honestly, yes.
It's just one of those things that, no matter how good or bad it is, you've gotta fucking know how it is.
A second SHADOW game? That's like, but not quite on the level of, a sequel to Sonic 06. How do you simply decide not to check that shit out immediately?
agreeing with this guy but also I think that Shadow needs to have access to more cool moves like his dumbass Chaos Spear that he only gets during the final boss.
Game needs to retain the guns and the strangely good music made by like 40 different artists. Game's OST was pretty great and varied:

But definitely the best thing about the game was the player choice.
One of my friends in the Marines is a big Powerman 5000 fan, so I showed him this absolute fucking trash that they made for the Shadow game and I feel like I stabbed the guy in the back.
If they get their shit together and make it play like ratchet and clank then absolutely
The guns are out of place thematically but they are pretty good as a game mechanic. You're gonna need and appreciate them when it comes to shaving down big enemy health bars.
>no ending where you side with Eggman
>no ending where you fight Sonic alone
why
You can still do both. I just want more utilization of Shadow's character. give him weapons that fit and doesn't slow down the gameplay. My idea of a sonic styled combat would be encouraging the player to beat a group of enemies as smoothly and quickly as possible.
Shadow needs a shotgun
>guns are pretty good as a game mechanic
It would be significantly better if the controls had a functional strafe
>still almost no games with this level of player choice
At least you made 1500$ from the totem you sold!
zero escape did it best
Fuck yes, first one is kinda flawed but underrated and a lot of fun. I'd totally be down for a sequel.
>had the McDonald's electronic game
>only played maybe 5 minutes of Adventure, at a friend's house
>played the shit out of the original and 3&K around 3rd grade
I'm so happy I never went autistic with it.
It will be DAMN fine time
yeah if it was like spy type stuff like his character from 06
oh and have levels where you can switch out with Rouge
