They're annoying to go against but it's fun to be one.

I don't get the point. Its like playing with god mode. Sure its kinda neat for 5 minutes, but it sucks the fun out with no challenge. And enough of them can sink a game. They be dickbags.

They don't affect me in any way, shape, or form, so I don't care.

The kind that regularly do so against other people are irritating, though I wish I knew what was going through their heads.

Hacking in a competitive game shows either insecurity or antisocial tendencies.

i get it cheaters are annoying, but honestly from my personal experience the massive amounts of butthurt and anger that follows it afterwards from everyone in the server is even worse.

Single-player: Don't really give a fuck but if you're doing it in your first playthrough you're basically robbing yourself of a good experience (unless the game is bugged somehow)
Multiplayer: Pure scum

I was referring more so to hackers in Multiplayer games than Singleplayer cheaters, nobody really cares if you cheat in a singleplayer game.

However! I do have a strange aversion to actual cheating though. I feel like going beyond what the game itself lets you do, even if that is an exploit, just doesn't make me feel enjoyment.

That being said, I will cheat in single player games, even use CE since who fucking cares if I cheat in single player games, you can fuck off with that bullshit, publishers. If I want to fuck with a SP game, then I fucking will. I prefer not to, though, since I get satisfaction out of earning my progress.

I'll also cheat if the game glitches out. Fuck reloading.

I can see the appeal of cheats in online games though, even if I don't use them.

Sure, they are breaking the illusion that the game cannot be hacked, but that was an illusion to begin with. Not their fault.
At the same time it usually takes a lot of effort to find an exploit and develop a hack. That's the work of highly skilled people.

What is not okay is people pretending to not hack and/or simply downloading finished hacks in order to cheat. That's fucking disgusting, and I hope those people get hit by an encryption trojan.

last I checked there was no cliff in the spears boss room. I'm also really bad a kicking, the timing of it is never consistent on M+KB.

I played CTF in MW2 and managed to sneak into makarovs house, take out enemies on the way, get the flag and noone saw me, then a faggot with wh took me out, so i downloaded an ESP box and played with that from that point

Cheaters think they're just regular scum, but they are in fact as bad as the worst of the jews. The scum of the earth, destined for hellfire. I have witnessed communities die in a matter of weeks to the presence of cheaters. They feed on trust to earn the respect a skilled player would receive, but only as a vicarious thrill by using cheats to pretend to be that good. They undermine the player's ability to trust that rare and strange moments were genuine. They make improving in skill a nightmare. Their presence erases that of the high skilled players who were once leaders in their communities. if I ever get a decent chance, I would slowly torture a cheater to death and relish it.

I used to be very good at a game, and as the cheaters rolled in I could not play on pubs without endless cheat accusations directed towards myself. This hurts doubly because I realized none of the new players could trust that I was legitimately good and would probably not bother to try either. All me and my friends could do was to collect cheat accusation screenshots, all hundreds of them, as a badge of honor.

And one more example: DayZ. When it was new, literally just for the first three months from June 2012. was a fucking magical experience. Then cheats became publically available and the game was DEAD in a matter of weeks, and never recovered afterwards. So much fucking hate. These smelly fucking kids do untold damage and they do it by feeding off of the goodwill and hard work of strong gaming communities. I will fucking end them.

DaS2 M+KB was only bad because you couldn't get rid of the double click bindings. you could bin no actions to them, but that's just it, if you clicked too fast your character would literally take it as an input to do nothing. having a separate buttone for jumping was also awkward, but not that bad.

In single player games who gives a fuck. In any type of online game anyone who uses them sucks, because they can't manage to play without 'em. If you're doing fine without cheats/hacks then why would you need them.

Sometimes its really sad though, had one in Titanfall 2 that used a wallhack and aimbot and still got shit on by above average players. I shittalked him but immidiately felt bad because he was either hadicapped or legitimately believed everyone hacks

while I do condone doing this for convenience there is a fine line to be crossed in which you can get shit for twinking purposes without having to actually get there which could be considered cheating. i.e. giving yourself the twin greatswords without even leaving high wall and just wrecking scrub invaders with a weapon they've never seen before and a host in that area shouldn't have.

In cod4 i played months on normal servers the legit way. then i tried cheating on pirate server, it was kinda funny to see people complaining about it. Obviously i wasn't even trying to conceal it, autoaim + no recoil + wallhack + no clip, i jumped in the middle of the map and did 10 kill in 1 second, then kept spamming helicopter and shit.
I also used to call myself "i am" and people kept spammin "i am cheater" and get kicked.
Another fun thing to do was to go on server with team kill, copy the name of one of your team and team kill a bit, change name to another and do the same 2-3 times. then change team and watch the other team killing itself.
I don't feel guilty at all and would do it again only because they were pirate servers, and i guess that having to deal with a cheater once in a while is a fair price to pirating the game.

Most of my builds are SL120, my low level builds were done legit since they took 1-3 hours to complete,

I should also mention, I ce my builds right at the beginning of the game, so I couldnt invade/get invaded until I reach a point of the game where I get the rings/upgrades legit and a certain point of NG+ or anywhere, so I think it's somewhat justified? Either way, I'm cheating at the game to save time
