Is this game supposed to be this easy? I got into the Beta today and I've made it to level 6 pretty quickly. Am I right in assuming that most of the people I'm playing against at this point are retarded/Hearthstone players?
Not trying to boast, bust it feels like it's too easy to stomp a lot of the time.
A lot of the people playing didn't play it much in TW3 or didn't even play TW3. I have three friends that tried it and have never played a card game or never even played TW3.
If it matters I'm also swapping between Skellige and Northern Realms every game. The two seem to the most common factions I've played against, as well as monsters.
They sent a ton of beta keys just a few days ago so lot of new players.

monsters were a SHIT deck in the game, only good for unlocking an Achievement via Mustering the shit out of a melee line and battle horning it. Maybe against thinking human players muster decks work gud, I dunno, Nilfgard was best deck because Spy spam fortified the shit out of your hand.

Wait until you get to meme decks where no one is building them by themselves but instead just following whatever meta is strong at the time.
This is what I hate about card games, someone finds a way to exploit a deck and then all those decks start appearing. It's not like in my animes where everyone has their own gimmick, it's just a bunch of people spending money to get the perfect meme deck.
Is it just me or Zoltan's pigmentation seems a bit odd in that picture.
Kinda lame how they made literally every other card have the effect of reducing power from enemy cards. Also, spies and by extention Nilfgard has been nerfed to hell.

Not sure if youve notice but, those people arent supposed to be the actual characters. Its supposed to represent people who cosplay and then get together and play Gwent. If you dont believe me take a look at the werewolf, you will find its a guy wearing a mask.
are they ever going to add 1v1s with friends? thats the only thing im still interested in trying until the game is fully released

huh, ive only played it on xbox and they never had the function when i was playing. Good to know that its there though, ill definitely make sure to get it on my computer once it's released

I swear everysingle game i've had against monsters the opponent always has some kinda edgy name like shdwlrd or bldkng. Make it far funnier when you curbstomp them a viking grandad.
monsters is the best faction currently in the standalone. it's retardedly easy to use and has the probably strongest passive.
This game looks so shitty I can't get into it. Could they have made it any uglier? Geez.
