is this game any good?
i bought it back in 2013 (vanilla), played through the first areas, got to the desert and never touched it again.
Does it gets better eventually? is it even worth anyone's time? Are the enviroments/music/story/cutscenes an good?

You can happily sink in 50 hours, but be careful of getting trapped doing hundreds of hours mindlessly, and growing to hate the game while you do
It depends on what you want.
RoS improves a lot over vanilla, but ultimately it's still a grinder. Atmosphere and story are shallow, as is to be expected in a game like this.
I still enjoyed it a lot though, and put a lot of hours into it. But it is just grinding in the end.
It's fun with friends. That's about it.
I'd argue early RoS was a great, great diablo game.
but now it's all too much. the additions of ancient and all the crap after that just make it all even worse.

It's fun until you get in a lobby with a fag who has 30,000 paragon level and he powerlevels you by setting the nephalem rift to level 100000000000 and one shots everything.

it's bretty gud. you'll go hard for 2-3 weeks then just stop for another 6 months repeat ad infinitum
Reaper Of Souls expansion and numerous improvements in patches have made the game a very worthwhile and fun little hack n' slash. It's no D2 or Titan Quest but it gets the job done and is fun with friends.
I know it's a meme but RoS did really fix a lot, over time. I bought vanilla on launch day too. I went witch doctor this season and it's been fun.

I was hyped as fuck, played demo and hated it. Then played it again years later and, the sames as you, dropped it and trade the game (PS3 version). This year I got RoS for 13 bux. Played and finished it to level 53 with a hardcore Barb. Never played it online. Fun hours. Skinner box as fuck and now I want to grind to level 70 hardcore.
Thanks mate. I actually tried it once but didn't like it and stopped pretty early. It looks awesome at first but I felt like I was leveling way too fast and the spells felt like over the top celebration of random particles and effects. I couldn't even see what's going on with all the junk around it was too much..
