Fuck your childhood

>cold zombie sex

Looks more like you're starting a "this game was never good" thread, son.

...

"This game has aged badly" does not mean "I enjoyed this game when I was youbger, but looking back on it, the game wasn't really that good" you faggots

...

There were games on the pc that came out before 007 that were much better, this was a case of babies first shooter.

When people say something didn't age well, they mean the gameplay used to be regarded as good but now it feels clunky and dated. Something like Deus Ex or Ocarina of Time are good examples. Indigo Prophecy's gameplay and story were dogshit even when it came out. There were countless DDR jokes about it and it has always been an example of "trainwreck" games.

...

Any playthrough other then yms's is wrong.

Back when MoH was still relevant

Indigo Prophecy was never good, the entire thing was sold on just the very first scene in the diner, but everything after that is absolute dog shit.

yes it does

...

The dialogue is trash

...

If that aged badly what hasn't?

They made a game called "Warfighter" in 2013 or something. "Warfighter", that's actually the title

It was THE most nondescript, bland, lazy impressionless game I've ever played. It was the FPS equivalent of tofu. The only thing I can even remember about it was that there's this target range level in an abandoned airplane which was kind of cool.

((((IGN)))) gave it a 4/10 just on the basis that it was so uninspired.

aesthetic af, to tell the truth pham

I still like the game and replay it every year.
Eat shit.

I mean I'm sorry for not having your opinion

...

...

...

Shame

The original Prey looks like shit

Only when Buck and Dare are on screen together

...

The rookie has the best dialogue hands down

And this game was old before it came out

...

Whole Silent Hill series.

You favorite game

...

...

It's still nice though. Playing it right now. Textures aren't very nice but still.

>how do i quickscope

>how do I meme?

...

that was cool as fuck tho

You know just because it looks representative of an era doesn't mean it "aged badly"

There's a grand total of like a dozen things people have ever created that look totally independent of any timeline

...

It aged like years old milk about three hours after you first played it, when your apartment suddenly attacked you and the game dropped like, fifty tabs of LSD.

...

...

It didn't age, it always was a piece of shit

...

>strategy game being represented by medieval warfare and political monarchies

>Silent Hill 3
I never got around to it despite really liking the previous one. Is it not worth playing today?

First part of the games go from an amazing start to good and okayish parts.
Second Part is so fucking retarded i have no idea where to start.
The only good part in the second part is the hidden sex scene part at the subway.

I played the PC version recently

after refusing to kiss Lucas' girlfriend, because I thought it would be weird, and losing a fuck ton of mental health I kept playing until the interrogation, even if I play perfectly the obligatory health loses end up killing me

so yeah

It's decent. I'd say give it a try if you have a ps2 laying around otherwise stay away from the remaster. The PC version doesn't seem to let me up the resolution without issues either. But it does play well above 480p

I actually do this as well. Maybe its just childhood nostalgia at this point, but when it first came out I was so enveloped/interested in the story line from the opening diner murder scene alone.

It is a shame the story gets so ridiculous halfway through with all the Aztec Illuminati and Matrix Code-Ghosts thing.

Fuck, even for all its flaws though I love the shit out of that game. I like that there are multiple ways to complete a scene/area often and they result in different outcomes.

I'd love to get a new game in the same vein as Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit but all the bitching from the WAAAH ITS NOT A REAL GAME ITS A MOOOOVIEEEEE crowd pretty much killed the story-centric games market.

It wasn't even hidden, the hidden sex scene was in the european version (at the time) where you serenade your girlfriend in the beginning of the game then you get to bone her, in the US version it was some fade to black shit in the eurocuck version it wasn't

Well the human models suck ass and textures can be a bit blurry, but otherwise it looks fine really. And the gameplay is as good as it was 10 years ago.

Nah man that's still the first part.
I mean the one where the female police officer bone the serial killer to death in the train.
You unlock it by picking a piece of iron or someshit and place it to a radio on the other side of the station, where most players wouldn't even bother to walk that far because they have lost any hope for the game to have redeeamble features after all this crap.

>Jill sandwich

>I'd love to get a new game in the same vein as Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit but all the bitching from the WAAAH ITS NOT A REAL GAME ITS A MOOOOVIEEEEE crowd pretty much killed the story-centric games market.
You are aware Quantic Dream have released two games since then, right?

>replaced the thimble

The only thing that is really annoying about older games is that you have to complete the singleplayer or play a fuck ton of the multiplayer to get all the fun stuff on the multiplayer mode.

>How has this game not been posted yet?

could be worse

games dont age, this meme needs to die

>Touché

...

That game couldve been so much better if it were not rushed as fucked which is obvious at the very end of the game.

I unorinically loved everything about that game and because of it I tend to buy every game he's made before and after

The first one just isn't fun

You want to say you seriously consider the story "twist" good? The asinine bullshit about Mayans and AI resurrecting people?

Man even typing this made me angry again, even after all those years. Holy fucking shit is this terrible writing.

Fuck you Indigo is fucking great.

...

...

Heavy Rain was also a very good albeit flawed game. I didn't enjoy the Ellen Page one that much though, it was just kind of odd.

...

...

...

Wait, Angelo Badalamenti did the soundtrack for this?
Learn something new everyday

Really, this has not aged all that badly. The graphics were pretty mind blowing when it came out, and now it still holds up well. The character models have emotive faces, the environments are gritty and creepy. I'd say the control sceme is the one thing that sets it back

>those mouth movements

The game as a whole looks and plays fine. I just cant get over the potato faces they kept from Oblivion

Thank god for the REmake which holds up great today

The first Tomb Raider holds up better than the second one. TR 2 was a shitshow

It's still my favorite, even though the combat in 2 is more fun and fleshed out.

>Game starts pretty interesting
>Plot constantly develops keeping you interested
>The atmosphere is pretty dark and while it has some superhuman elements they are kept to be as mysterious as possible
>Suddenly you die
>But somehow you're a zombie and now you fight the internet using matrix moves
Why? While it was cinematic game bullshit with barely any gameplay which was terrible anyway, it at least it could have had a good story but then it drops everything interesting for whacky bullshit making the whole game into a big pile of shit.

...

...

...

Throw Vice City in there too while you're at it. The controls and gunplay are frustrating at best. I wish there was a mod for SA that would just port VC to its version of the engine.

This

Most ps2 era games I think. The plot and features were really good at that time, but technical aspect aging like your mother.
