I wouldn't consider that shaky.
The problem with Shaky Cam is when you fuck with the spacial reasoning with the viewer and obscures the moves.
For example for all the shit that Bourne movies created, they use shaky cam pretty well.
Here the camera moves but you can see the moves pretty clear and doesn't overuse quick cuts.

After SW:TFA, they got people hyped for Rouge One, which turned out to be all around medi-core and underwhelming. Even the classic Star Wars fans awakened after Force Awakens were overall unimpressed.
The Last Jedi is going to probably follow suite, as Disney will use the Star Wars title yearly.
