I have too much of a hard time picking one bro, but Hagurumon, Kunemon, Pennmon and Betamon have always been my go-to. Lunamon is great as well, but shes in like two games now. (I know Dianamon is in a million but its not the same without the "full line")

Digimon Story (only called this in japan) = Typical monster collecting RPG.

The past few games that came out were Digimon Cyber Sleuth (Story game) which was really good. And Next 0rder (World game) which was a direct sequel to DMW1, it's very different from Pokemon and Cyber Sleuth and I can safely say it isn't for everyone.

Digimon General on /vg/ has guides for both. If you interested in either, do some research and if you like what you see they go on sale pretty often. CS is getting a sequel (in a way that SMT4 is to SMT4A if you understand that.) called Hacker's Memory.

It's a good improvement from the first game. The only thing that I hate about it is that the game needs more polish. It feels as if the game was almost complete but the game's deadline has arrived.

Yeah, it also completely ruined online multiplayer, which was like the only redeeming quality of ORAS and XY. They didn't even add a postgame to compensate for it.

People do mostly, the problem is that Digimon is incredibly scattered. You've got all kinds of variants, Digimon made for specific game/anime gimmicks, anime OC digimon, like 4 different kinds of fusion. Doesn't help that Digimon has been a mess until the last few years.

Then you have Digimon that are revealed, but then never used. Pic related. This is Catchmamemon. He was revealed almost 10 years ago and the upcoming Hacker's Memory will be the very first piece of Digimon media he's ever appeared in
