Ah, I can imagine. The route guides show all possible interactions though. Really there's only 4 clear routes.
I went in blind for the first 2 and then grabbed a guide because I was having difficulty getting the other ones. I'd suggest you do the same, there's nothing you can do wrong so you should just immersive yourself into the story as much as possible.
