The tablet is not X1, it's K1. There is an X1 Shield, but it's not a tablet. The introductory price for the K1 Tablet was $299, it was lowered a year later to $199.

I generally don't like nintendo games. I had a wii-u for some stupid fucking reason, and I never played the thing.

I bought a switch for some stupid fucking reason... and it's actually pretty damn great. Like 30 hours into BoTW, and while it's not my favorite game ever, or even my favorite open world game, it's good.

Being able to play it on a flight, which I do a lot, is awesome. MK8 deluxe is pretty good too. Once I finish Zelda, I don't know if my opinion will stay the same or not.

Personally I've found more than five games and it's cheap for a new system. If that also applies to you then it's worth it.

Unless you REALLY want to play BoTW, hold off until Christmas and beyond when more shit is out and E3 is passed and we know more about the upcoming library. Not to mention the possibility of bundles closer to the holidays will be a big reason to hold off.

PS4 is $300, comes with a game, a proper controller, has a bigger library of games and gets 3rd party AAA support unlike Nintendo.

Why would the give you a big discount though? It's just another way of them selling you the Switch. Making some Splatton 2 exclusive themed Switch would require a lot of work to produce I guess.
