I actually find the idea for this game intriguing, I just hope that make the game morally ambiguous and give the Radical Christians a proper motive. Hopefully you can join them!

What makes you think this is about "Radical Christians" and not about a rural conspiracy of the kind featuring in Jack Reacher novels?

Jacob Duncan runs a rural Nebraska farmer town like a tinpot dictator straight out of Ruritania, along with his brothers Jonas and Jasper and his son Seth. They run a trucking business whose service they force upon every family in town. Anyone who refuses or disagrees with them would find themselves beaten up and their properties ruined by a gang of ex-college football players on the Duncans’ payroll. The Duncans use this business to smuggle children and others from Asia to the heartland United States (and elsewhere) for sex trafficking.

I think a Jonestown cult setting could be cool, I really don't give a shit about their "agenda"

My only concern is the setting, I hope half the map isn't just flat fields.

I was thinking more like an end of the world scenario with Christians, in modern day, with red-pill esque reasoning. This would be juxtaposed with the main character who's probably a Gen X'er.

I don't think they'd use Christians as an enemy in a mainstream game like Far Cry - Outlast 2 is a niche title.

The main villain will be a comic book evil character who gets killed off halfway through.

Apparently, if you read a summary of the story, they describe the main villain as a "shirtless bible-thumpers". They are doomsday preppers, and what I'm implying is that the game should feature some real modern day parallels probably picked up by notes and what not.

It all depends on what values that culture and religion promotes, and I've encountered Mormons, and their religion seems to promote the importance of physical fitness, the pursuit of knowledge, sociability, and the importance of shouldering responsibility and self-sacrifice. Whether everyone follows it to the letter is irrelevant.

Western culture is built and the culture and religion of old middle eastern Jews and Christians, and we developed like that for thousands of years. It's the reason people actually think those morals and values are innate and not result of culture. Fucking Nietzsche was horrified by the idea of killing god, or removing Christianity, and why he called for the importance of people than playing god in creating "objective morality", even the modern bu athiest intellectuals talk about the importance of secular humanist objective morality.

People also think zealots are a result of religion, but that's wrong. Zealots are essentially people that might have personal difficulty in climbing up the social hierarchy so they violently and ignorantly hold that hierarchy be the way they want it, because they can't adapt and obtain an equivalent level in the new structure. While people like the current wave of SJWs and Marxist are essential people that couldn't make it in the culture of self-reliance, accountability, and reward based on merit, and so they're whole goal is to create a new hierarchy of victim hood, where they can compete.
