Yes, I'm in the small boat of people that like Valkyria Chronicles 2 for what it is. The only part of the game that still bugs me is farming for random items to rank up.

VC3 is actually a good game.

VC3 is vastly superiot to VC1 in everything but graphics and map size, but the smaller maps are interconnected in a way that if you were to piece them together, they'd be same size as VC1 maps.

I don't see how people think this game looks bad
It looks different from previous Valkyria titles, but I don't see anything about it that looks bad. The music is fantastic, and I'm really looking forward to this game's release. Just annoyed that its not releasing on PC day one.

I'm hoping its just a case of expanding the audience further and/or Phil Spencer getting devs to release games on the Xbone. Hopefully its one of those cases where it comes out on consoles first and a few months to a year later it comes out on PC as well. SEGA seems to be doing this more considering Vanquish and Bayonetta, though that might just be because of them being Platinum titles. Who knows.

The character designs, music, and general military theme are all very much the sort of stuff we got from VC. Its just much more animu and abandoned the SRPG gameplay, which, considering they're not calling it Valkyria Chronicles, I don't really see the problem
