So I started a new Skyrim save on PS4 today with some mods. And as soon as I get hit by an arrow I get killed instantly. So I disabled all the mods, and the same thing happened. I even took the difficulty from expert to novice but I still get killed with two arrows.
I don't remember it being that difficult. wtf is the problem?

Git Gud

Bethesda, that's what.
>it just works
Hudson Long
you should cover up those knees
XDDD

The game itself isn't good enough to get good with.

Bruh, I'm at the start of the fucking game on my way to bleak falls barrow and getting one-shot by some fucking orc marauder

>haven't played Skyrim in forever >decide to do another run-through >install a bunch of recommended mods, including a couple to "fix" the combat >just turns every enemy into massive HP sponges >puts lel so randum xD high lvl mobs into beginner areas >mobs can one-hit you Nice "fixed" combat
Angel Hernandez
Scaling, unless you have some really good balancing mods you will usually run into mobs one-shoting you.
Alexander Scott
Did you install am arrow mod? Installed a few on the x1 and turns out enemies also get those arrows. Was getting one-shot by elemental arrows right out the gate.
Logan Bennett
git gud
Luke Carter
what do you mean, scaling? Nah only ones that is supposed to change the speed.
But when I disable all mods I still get killed instantly.
Connor Carter
You're not using Wildcat are you.
Liam Rodriguez
Possible residual files. If you remove mods for checking a base state you're supposed to do a clean save or a clean install.
Ryan Smith
No. Only some loot. AI and weather mods
Owen Collins
Bethesda games have a shit level scaling system in which enemies have the same, if not, more level than you, meaning that if you don't invest on survival or fighting perks you will end up fighting against bandits with glass bows and arrows while you are still using an iron bow.
Leo Johnson
PS4 gets all scraps, none of the good mods are made for PS4
Dominic Foster
Wildcat will fix the damage sponge issue. Can't help you with everything else though
Jack Parker
Yeah, well, this is like the first archer I meet. I'm lvl 3. And this guy don't have any better weapons than me.
Well, I suppose I have to start a new game without any mods to begin with and see.
Jason Martinez
The last time I played was on Legendary and it took at least 2 arrows to kill me with the starting gear, I think you did something wrong.
Jordan Moore
>PS4 today with some mods I came here to laugh at you, even an xbone would be better
Brody Gonzalez
Well, your probably level 3 rn. Git gud.
Owen Martinez
No. It wouldn't. Nice try (you).
Zachary Myers
Just grab a bow yourself and oneshow people? You can oneshot dragons with sneak+bows on the highest difficulty. Everything in this game is broken
Man even with mods it's impossible to die. The whole game is babby mode made for any nigger or child to be able to play, that's how modern bethesda games are now.
Jason Perez
>no new asset on PS4 because nips are faggots Yes, an xbone would be better for shitrim. PC of course is king because the modding community hates consolefags for being absolute niggers meaning a lot of the good mods didn't get ported.
Samuel Cox
Tried that. My arrows are weaker. But I'm about to see if a vanilla settings fix mod will fix the problem
Chase Smith
this is what i realized for any """combat overhaul mod""" Every mod boasts how it adds layers of depth when all they do is change values for health and damage Every single fucking one
Nathan Hernandez
You prbably have a bandit maurader, they tend to one hit Kill its annoying af
Tyler Phillips
Wildcat for the injury system + smilodon for everything else is awesome. attack a dude right after he attacks, either kill him or injury something.
