Ok can someone explain what the fuck is going on? I killed the dragon and the credits rolled, but now I'm back in Gran Soren and shits fucked. Is this NG+? Or have I still not beaten the game? What the fuck

You're currently in the post game. You have two choices, get your ass kicked around Gran Soren or get your ass kicked in Bitterblack Isle. Either way, you have a lot of things to murder from Evil Eyes to Hydra.

In another play-through, I made Tamani from CoC. Pic mostly related. Also, I like short-stacks.

I like the fashion on that Arisen, you don't see many try to rock the Dragonleather Vest.

I could spend an eternity in Dragon's Dogma's character creator and still come out with a mediocre looking pawn. Is it a skill people are born with?

The DLC(BBI) is where it's at.
If you don't enjoy the game don't bother with the rest, it's nothing special if you don't plan on keep playing.

I have never played NG+ apart from getting all the achievements. Never understood why people do it. What is the fun in running around one-shotting everything?

Man if there ever was a game that needed the Dark Souls style NG+ scaling this was it.

If there's a DD2 god I wish there will be more races. I will make a shortstack goblin pawn without hesitation.

I usually start out with a theme and from there the character kinda creates itself. Coming up with that theme is really fucking hard though.

This was my first PC pawn. The RC were rolling in on that guy.

The character creator in DD is so good that it wouldn't shock me to see a giant hand running around as someone's pawn.

Sort of but not really. The controls feel pretty damn responsive and surprisingly natural unlike a lot of other PC ports, HOWEVER, the skill usage is really fucking wonky to the point where I can't enjoy it and I never got over that hurdle.

'Playable', yes; but not as user-friendly as a pad.
Aiming bows in DD isn't a problem with an analog stick.

It's fun to hoard fashion items I guess.

Plus I try to do challenge runs with him like solo combat with an RP unupgraded set. I'm trying to comb archives for screenshots of my Arisen's many makeovers off the ddg page. Here's my Blackguard.

That's the very best part of the game, though. And the last dungeon might be the very worst.

I'm not just saying it either, I think she looks really nice. The slicked back hair gives off the regal vibe, I feel like there are no clothes in DD that would give that vibe off. She looks like she would look amazing in some Bloodborne styled clothing.

Who wants to see my solo Unarmed mountain man Arisen? hard mode, dual bloody knuckles and dressed like a barbarian king. Beat the entire game including BBI as a pure unarmed build, the only time I brought in pawns was to beat the living armour boss to open the door in late BBI.

I quite like her. She looked better with other hairstyles, I changed that a lot.

A wider selection of fashion would've been nice, that's for sure. Dragon's Dogma is the only game I've ever purchased cosmetic DLC for.

I never managed to put together an outfit that wasn't this or Lv.3 armor + circlet.

How do I kill harpies and magic golems as a fighter or warrior?

As a fighter you can use the shield summon, that's about it.

I wouldn't call 2,000 RC a million billion trillion shekels.

I started playing a year ago and forget everything. I'm thinking of starting over as a Magic Class, which Advanced one would be better between Magic Archer and Wizard? Mystic Knight is what I went with the first time

I don't like MK. I feel like it actually has too many skills, I always feel like I'm forgetting something no matter what skill set I try. And the constant buffing between and during fights. Just wasn't for me.

MK doesn't shine until you've got all its tools, look up some mods for increased buff time or its a tedious process.

So, there I was walking the castle grounds after being deemed the Duke's new errand boy and this bloke, Fedel pulls me aside for a word. Says he wants to see me in the dead of night, so I play along, thinking it must be worth it.

Seems some beasty stole his secret letter. I took pity on him, because life is hard for one who's got more secrets than the wits to keep them. I mean, why not drag the duke into the courtyard at an ungodly hour instead of writing him secret letters?

Anyways, we find the spot where the letter was taken and by miracle the pawns know where the beasty went and they insist we give chase. Turns out it's in some dank, ravine full of harpies, spiders, ghosts and an ogre for good measure. I'm thinking to myself that, that's it. The letter's safer down there than it is in Fedel's mind, but the man will have none of it. He wants the paper itself, though it must be soaked through and unreadable by now.

I've no clue why, but I decide to go along and after nearly dying a dozen times I'm back in the capital, letter in hand. The only sane person in this story is Ser Gabrian who intercepts me to ask for the letter and, by god, I let him have it to teach Fedel a lesson. If a secret's worth a mans life he can bloody well deliver it in person next time.

When I first used a Mystic Knight without using Magic Cannon, that shit changed my life. Literally block everything and enemy gets fucking destroyed for even daring to touch me after a perfect block.

Those soldiers deserved it, bunch of scrubs losing to goblins. Even in numbers, a weakling is a weakling still.

That ogre is programmed to kill himself after a while if you're not doing enough damage to him
