Fun and cringe are not mutually exclusive. You can like the gameplay while still finding the writing shit.

The game is fun at short bursts.
Sadly it gets kind of repetitive since the only game modes are 6v6 objective taking.
Not really enough variety like TF2 so whenever I play it I'm always off again/on again.
Plus lots of characters means balancing sucks, and sometimes your team can be a bigger enemy than the other team.

Its not a bad game, but it grows old eventually due to a lack of modes and maps, along with super slow matchmaking. Plus the guns feel like shit.

It's not very impressive to win in Quickplay when everyone fucks around or they're trying new heroes/strats.

Try playing a little longer and you'll see. The skill ceiling is low, the map design is awful, and every match feels exactly the same. They are also really slow to pump out gameplay impactful content and even cosmetic stuff.

It's hard to try new heros and strats when you can't move past your spawn.
Maybe that strat isn't working.

There's a game mode where it changes your character every time you die. That's pretty fun desu and you can't get mad at your team in that game mode.
Though I have gotten a couple fags who told me to jump off a cliff so I could roll a more "meta" charatcer.
