What books even come close to the style and feeling of smt?
Recommend a book based on vidya
Other urls found in this thread:
Diary of a Farting Pikachu
God Hand
This is a good thread. I'd also like to know of Vidya that have the same feeling as some books.
Too bad this thread will die and we'll never know. Sorry, op.
Journey to the west would be a start. It's fucking crazy.
Cain by jose saramago, it's a biblical reimagining about a guy with a grudge against ywhw who was also cursed by him. Felt pretty smtesque.
YHVH* SORRY
Recommend me a book that has a similar Final Fantasy type of adventure
no tolkien or george martin
American Gods, kinda.
At the very least you'll probably be able to recognize most of the ones that show up.
Well ff is based on western fantasy, which is heavily based on tolkien's books, so that seems a little pointless
This might not be exactly what you're looking for but the Insignia series by S.J. Kincaid do remind me of a final fantasy adventure, albeit a modern one, like 13.
If you're looking to a more magitek ff, like 6, Pax Brittania: Gods of Manhattan by Al Ewin is a fun read.
Ty bros for keeping this thread alive.
Shoot, we might be able to find something.
Gee, I don't know fuck face, it's kind of a difficult question.
While we're on the subject, anyone know any good books similar to the Lord of the Rings movies? I want something that captures that feel.
I'm interested in more smtesque books, nocturne or strange journey-like. I know, edgy but fuck it, i like them a lot.
Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei
Your shitty JRPG series isn't as great as you think it is. Eat shit, nerd.
Asura's Wrath?
Megami Tensei as a series literally comes from a book mate, as said
Hellboy, for the whole "every myth and legend is in some way real and they all interact with each other" aspect.
Not only is it spawned from a book series, it has a handful of books based on it, one of which even got an English printing. Western Megaten fans are dumb.
If you refer to the big sense of adventure and magic, the discworld series by Terry Pratchett is amazing. Start with The Light Fantastic.
I'm aware of this, but not of books based on smt like Said, thus the point of this thread
>nobody mentioned quantum devil saga
