Finished Zelda 100%. Next game I'll buy is Squid Game 2. Does not really have many games that are worth buying right now. Not sure if ARMS can even live up to the hype.

I hated it when it was called the Wii U. Releasing the same system again under a different name isn't going to change my mind. Especially when it's not up to par with modern dev tools.

I've taken a break from it, I already put 200 hours into Zelda, and while Mario Kart 8 Deluxe kept me busy for a bit, I still got my fill on the Wii U. I'll start Zelda again when DLC pack 1 is released, and I'm actually really looking forward to ARMS.

I do, I think there's a decent selection of games out there that will keep me busy for the first year and it's fantastic to use as a handheld on my way to university. However there are certain issues that are just bad

>no virtual console
>no internet browser
>no apps like netflix and youtube
>cannot connect bluetooth headphones

When they resolve those issues it's literally a pretty good console/handheld mix and I can see it selling well

Waiting for games is hard. I thought having an extra system around with alleviate this but I don't want to play indie games.

One thing - DO NOT buy Mr Shifty. Shittiest port I have ever seen, game literally runs at 10 fps in the final levels, randomly crashes etc.

I also bought Snake Pass for some fun, but so far it was pretty boring - coins and shit are put so randomly, sometimes getting shit that's tied to your actual progress is harder than getting them.

Mario Kart 8 kinda waits for me to want to play it again, apparently I grew out of kart racers.

Zelda is still amazing, though I'll be also getting Puyo Puyo and Disgaea 5 soon.

The right joycon is legitimately for a lot of games since the right stick is right under the 'B' buttons and easily gets in the way. Which is just awful.

Aside from that. Playing with the joycons detached from one another in free hands mode is absolutely incredible. So it's just such a huge shame about the right stick. If it wasn't for that stick issue I'd probably exclusively play with the joycons.

Yeah, I've been enjoying the time I've had with mine. Zelda was fantastic, and it's really nice being able to play Mario Kart while I'm lying in bed. Depending on how good the Global Testfire is for Arms, I'll probably end up getting it too. I honestly think the Switch has the best first year lineup of any console in years.
I wish Nintendo would hurry up and drop the 3DS already so they can focus all of their support and effort on the Switch.

No, that's the Vita threads. Easily my most regretted purchase. That's why I haven't bought a Switch yet, the library is shaping up to be as disappointing as the Vita's for me. All it needs is Monster Hunter and I'd be satisfied.

The joycons are terrible outside of using the Switch in handheld mode. Thankfully, the Pro controller is one of the comfiest controllers I've ever used

there's zero good reasons for the Switch to not have a browser. I never used the one on 3ds because the screen was utter dogshit, but the Switches screen is nicer and bigger than my phones, so given the choice I'd often use the Switch for that

Consoles in general have never needed them, that's not their purpose as machines. That's all I have to say.
