Discussing the subject of "Video games" is incidental. We come here because we are argumentitive faggots and enjoy being right. Watch some arguments about if game "x" or game "y" is better, before long two anons are no longer even talking about video games but attacking the structure in which people make an argument about "thing". Eventually one user "wins" the argument because the other made logical fallacies, and that suddenly is more important than actually discussing video games.

Vidya is just the vector by which we try to one up each other with. It just happens to be a popular and relatable starting point.
