WHAT A THRILL
can Americans not produce good music?
A RIVER IN A DRY LAAAAND
Correct
Almost every game with choral music
Video game music is basically always short background track on a loop, thus the inclusion of complex lyrics would be quickly noticeable and annoying. Background music that works the best is often something which has a strong melody which is satisfying/tolerable to listen on a loop, or ambient music which is also more tolerable to passively hear. When you do hear music in video games that feature lyrics, it's often simplistic LIVE AND LEARN type power pop music, or possibly the obligatory foreign choral/chant used to enhance atmosphere. Perhaps this is why many Japanese games tend to use English lyrics, as the language is foreign to them
Europe and America have contributed more to music than the rest of the entire world by such a large stretch that it isn't even debatable.
