What do you expect from the Nintendo E3 Direct?
What do you expect from the Nintendo E3 Direct?
Absolutely fucking nothing
It'll just be new info on shit already announced at the switch presentation
and amiibo
FUCK YOU
Nothing that we don't already know. Lots of gameplay for Odyssey, ARMS, and Splatoon2. BotW DLC info and maybe some e-shop/virtual console shit.
The same games with different titles
Nothing, just like the rest of E3. Should be some good cringe to laugh at.
MELEE HD
Dissapointment and no Etrian Odyssey 5.
Mario Odyssey
Splatoon 2
ARMS
Amiibos (maybe the Monster Hunter ones coming Westwards?)
3DS Artoon Pikmin
That's what I'm expecting. I'm not going to hype myself up by indulging in pipe dreams about a new Paper Mario RPG or Metroid.
VC release and if I'm really lucky SMW + All-Stars
well, dummy, the two small directs about arms and splatwon was so that it wouldn't have to be at the direct presentation. goldfish memory. Tell your mother to get some douche powder and stay fresh for next time.
Even more Arms
Rabbids
Skylanders
I'm not getting my hopes up. If I have the lowest expectations possible, I won't be disappointed. I could seriously see them pulling something like it. It would be the stupidest move, but they'd do it.
2.5D Metroid Dread, but chances are I'm wrong.
Nintendo better impress at E3 this year but it may be shit so I rather just wait for next year.
I just want them to revive another dead franchise and have the game as an exclusive, just to see if it causes more salt than bayo 2
Disappointment followed by
>lmao we're going to keep supporting the 3DS to make your purchase of a Switch even more worthless

>New Splatoon Trailer
>Second round of testfire dates
>Xenoblade 2 trailer
>"And now for some of our third party partners!"
>Sonic Mania trailer

>"Look for more information on our upcoming online services, including Virtual Console, this fall"
>"We hope you have enjoyed this year's e3 direct, and we have one more announcement!"
>Trailer for surprise game that will be leaked 3 days before.
I expect as much sequels of 3DS games as possible. The more the better.
I'm not sure if they'll include ARMS since it releases the day after E3 and they have an on-floor tournament devoted to it
The Direct will include:
New Splatoon 2 footage
New FE Warriors footage
New Xenoblade 2 footage
New Odyssey trailer
Segment on "big" indies"
MAYBE An actual FE (proper) teaser
Reveal of Retro Studio's new game
Unlikely, but hopefully:
VC announcement
Non-shit Metroid
Some other surprise (new or existing IP)
Extremely unlikely, but would decimate the competition:
Pokemon
I just want the BOTW dlc to have a good dungeon.
It only said a "focus" on 2017 titles. but you can but they're going to talk about future projects.
that said, what surprise games could they announce for this year? Pikmin 4 is still hidden from us.
it's coming. Some magazine tlked about a pikmin game at e3
Donkey Kong Cuntry Infernal Jungle
More Maio Odyssey gameplays
A new trailer for Splatoon 2
Some Xenoblade 2 gameplay
Hopefuly a 3DS game sequel like Etrian Odyssey, Ace Attorney, Professor Layton, Monster Hunter, Fantasy Life, or others on the Switch
And fucking show something about the new SMT please.
oh well it's definitely confirmed then
I think the switch is good with wii u ports, lets get some HD 3ds ports. Zelda and Monster Hunter, for starts
PLEASE TELL ME MORE. I'm desparate for Pikmin news. Where dis you hear this?
Pikmin 4. It's all I want.
pic related
Mario odessy
Some splatoon
Some arms
A few new small games
MRKB
New animal crossing
Pikmin world

End it with a suprise announcment
They said we weren't going new skylanders this year
>Mario Party 11
>Fatal Frame 6
>Animal Crossing Switch
>Smash Bros Switch
>Tokyo Mirage Sessions 2
>Bayonetta 3
I can only dream. But I'm not expecting anything other than new Mario and Zelda DLC footage.

amiibos
nintendo are cock suckers who dont want their fans to have fun on e3 anymore
I just want to see Pikmin 4 desu
online service info
ssb
xenoblade 2
new platinum ip
animal crossing
odyssey
vc
metroid
monster hunter
splatoon 2
things not to expect:
arms
a lot of 3ds (only expect some ever oasis and minimal miitopia)
They'd be insane to not release a proper Animal Crossing on it, people buy systems for Animal Crossing, especially Japanese girls.
>Opens with Mario
>Talks about Mario. Mario comes out November 17th
>Virtual Console coming after the direct with 100 games, netplay coming in fall.
>Gamecube VC is added
>Zelda DLC
>Buy Splatoon 2, goy!
>Fire Emblem Warriors gameplay, shows off Chrom, Ryoma, Xander, Marth and Corrin (Female, complete with shots of her feet)
>Fire Emblem Amiibos, say that they'll be useful in FE Switch which won't be shown.
>Xenoblade 2 in English, with a December release. X was finished in March/April of 2015, they've had over 2.5 years to make a game.
>Pokemon Stars, its just Sun and Moon HD with a battle frontier-like thing, some extra stuff and voice acting. Early November release.
>Bayonetta 3 surprise reveal for 2018
>Pikmin 4 gameplay/trailer, "spring 2018"
>New IP from a western studio for "grown ups" due out in "summer 2018"
>Teaser for a new game from Sakurai, release date isn't stated.
>Smash Bros is not at the show as it would kill any hype for Arms.
>Mario and Sonic at the 2018 Winter Olympics, due out in February to coincide with the start of the games.
>Sonic Forces has exclusive Nintendo content.
>Mario + Rabbids for a short time, it will have been at Ubisoft's conference.
>Third party stuff: Square ports, Namco ports, SMTV, Skyrim, COD WW2, EA games, possible Monster Hunter tease.
>Ends with Retro Studio's Metroid Prime 4 gameplay and a surprise early 2018 release date.
/thread
Updates and gameplay footage on shit we already knew about followed by a surprise announcement that's cool but mildly disappointing
NO MORE HEROES 3 TEASER BABY
This is the ideal direct
Switch
>Super Mario Odyssey
>Splatoon 2
>Sonic Forces
>Sonic Mania
>Arms Summer DLC
>Breath of The Wild DLC
>Fire Emblem Warriors
>Xenoblade Chronicles 2
>3rd Party Reel
>3DS reel
>Rabbids
That's it. Not expecting anything Pokemon-related either.
m e t r o i d
Localize EO5 or confirm it's coming and I'll be happy with any shit they say otherwise.
...
It's easier to pinpoint what not to expect from the direct
and there is one sure fire thing that we all know won't happen:
A new Metroid game gets announced
...
SUPER
SMAAAAAAASH
BROTHERRRRRRRRRRRRS
To get buttfucked:
Another FireEmblem with DLC more expesive than the main game.
Paid online worth a shit.
Xenoblade will have day 1 DLC.
No Metroid or another Metroid that no one asked for.
Useless accesories for the Switch.
Games drought.
The TreeHouse doing a bad job again.
Etc.
Epic
Metal gear solid 6 switch exclusive.
Just waiting on them to announce Smash 4 Switch. If they don't at E3 then I'm gonna go ahead and buy that replacement Wii U tablet so I can finally play it again.
Mother 3 physical release. This is the year!
Odyssey will be the main topic like BotW was last year
First look at the 2nd BotW DLC
More Splatoon 2 Info
Some more info on already announced 3rd party games
The rabbids portion will be physically painful to sit through
Overall it'll be decent but the shitposting from a Ubisoft crossover game will be intolerable
Underwhelming with maybe 1 or 2 genuine surprises. That mindset isn't limited to Nintendo though.
I expect close to nothing new for the 3DS, lots of Switch games announced for the rest of the year with most of them seeming like shovelware, a new Odyssey trailer, and one new game that actually gets people excited. if god exists, it won't be the Rabbids game.
Can Odyssey carry a direct? If the levels are open-ended like 64 and Sunshine, they probably wouldn't want to show off more than the hub and one level.
I expect the Ubisoft Rabbits and Mario crossover to be pushed heavily in their E3 direct and footage of projects we already know about.
As a Nintendo fan, I'm pretty much just praying that the Mario&Rabbits game wasn't their 'big reveal/surprise' for this years show.
Retro's game will be revealed
I can feel it
but have there been any other leaks other than the MarioxRabbids
Disappointment.
What I want:
>more Mario Odessey, release date announced for this year
>more Xenoblade 2, release date announced for this year
>more Splatoon 2
>more ARMS
>announcement of Smah for Switch with 3DS and WiiU content included
>new Metroid game announced
>new IP from RETRO studios announced
What will happen:
>Mario Odessey trailer, game is pushed back to 2018, enjoy this Mario+Rabbits crap in the meantime
>Xenoblade 2 trailer, release date announced for this year... In Japan only.
>RETRO studios game isn't announced
>no new metro is game
>too much focus on ARMS and Splatoon just because they release soon
I'm fairly sure I'll watch their presentation, expect nothing, and still be disappointed.
Everyone is bemoaning the dumb Rabbids game but it being basically confirmed also means we're getting BG&E2 as a switch exclusive.
There seems to be a Mario & Luigi SSS remake in the works for 3DS. So that can probably be expected.
There's this
in reality, pick related +
>Fifa and 2K17 NBA
>Skyrim shilling
>Mario O Release date
>Xenoblade 2 Release date
>Fire Emblem Heroes Release date
>Mario and the Rabbits thing
wishful thinking
the above +
>Metroid teasing
>Platinum new IP is for the Switch
>SMT 4 info
>Fire Emblem Switch Teaser
>Senran Kagura boob simulator
>Smash 4.5 / 5 or Pokemon Eclipse for early next year
I love Nintendo and I expect absolutely nothing
>Stuff about ARMS we already know
>Stuff about Splatoon 2 we already know
>Here's some amiibo
>Here's some more amiibo
>btw the 2DS XL is coming out soon
>More amiibo
>VC launches next month with Mario 64 and Urban Champion, more games coming once a week starting in 2018
>One legitimately shocking announcement
>Reggie makes a joke about a game people actually want, and then give you the off-brand indie version they're pushing instead (like Fast Racing Neo, or now the medieval Advance Wars)
>Reel of shitty indie games nobody actually wants or already played years ago
>MORE amiibo
>Rest of the presentation is damage controlling for Rabbids
This is the most realistic thing you could possibly expect and anybody who thinks otherwise has their head up their ass
This is coming from someone who's been choking on that Nintendo cock for years and is now finally getting tired of it
Would be nice if something good came out of that monstrosity.
>>Stuff about ARMS we already know
>Arms release like 3 days after E3
why would they??
>Trailer for surprise game that will be leaked 3 days before
I fucking hate people who leak this shit. this e3 I'm going in full internet spoiler free
Expected:
Mario Odyssey reel
First look at ARMS DLC
Splatoon 2 stuff
New Xenoblade 2 trailer
Mario and Luigi SS DX (surprise release after direct/treehouse gameplay like megamix last year)
FE Warriors
Mario+Rabbids
Switch Firmware update adding new features
virtual console
Third Party Reel
Really want:
Smash + controllers (GC, wiiu pro, 3DS...) backwards compatibility
Pokemon
Monhun
To get people to buy it, goof
It also wouldn't be the first time something like that happened
More updates and orbs for FEH
>no metroid
You're getting shitty memes and you're gonna like them
lol stay delusional sonybro
I expect nothing worthwhile except Super Mario Odyssey footage. Expecting a new Metroid or anything else seems like a recipe for disappointment.
Nope, they are only talking about Switch games in the direct. They won't talk about ANY 3DS titles AT ALL during the E3 presentation, only in the Treehouse afterwards. This has been confirmed.
Pretty much fpbp. I enjoy Nintendo, got myself a Switch, but man are their presentations almost full of nothing. Their normal directs outside of conventions often have more things to be excited about.
fuck off, you make everyone look like retards
fuck off, you make everyone look like retards
Did it say anything about a 2D Metroid?
