It looks like one of those gamestop trailer instead of a Square Enix. I wonder if they are going to release any other game besides FFXII for the FF 30th Anniversary.

Game plays itself. It's boring shit.
test
if you set it up gambits when at high level
can't you just not use it?
Who praised FFXII for its story?
Game is doing exactly as what you tell to do, whether you activate the gambit or not.
Me. The script is amazing.
zodiac age is SHIT because class system is shit itself
>I wonder if they are going to release any other game besides FFXII for the FF 30th Anniversary.
With FFVIIR not coming out any soon, there is nothing besides FFXII HD, FFXV DLCs and WOFF DLC.
In what way
this video is MAXIMUM cringe
because lorewise balthier is a sky pirate and not a white mag casting healing spells
everyone being able to use every weapon in the game was good
now you literally have to micro manage
I thought it was an ign wank video the first time I saw this trailer.
>youtu.be
They messed up the coolor.
Or you can play howver the fuck you want and not minmax
then don't make him a white mage dumbass if you care so much about your precious lore
Well, isn't it nice now you can make him both a WM and Gunner/whateverit was called.
Apprently you can use 2 jobs now in the HD version. Honestly though, it doesn't seem like they really knew what kind of gameplay they wanted for this game, it had like 3 different systems already.
>Spend ages setting up gambit automation
>What the fuck why is it playing itself?
you can not you have to choose a role for a character thus leaving out pole weapons or swords completely
>Apprently you can use 2 jobs now in the HD version
sorce
>spend literally 1 minute setting up heal and attack gambits
>game plays itself outside of the VERY rare debuff mechanics that take 1 other minute to account for
They did a good job with the Ost for this remaster compared to FFX/X-2 HD:

The new track are also pretty good.
2 jobs? how does that work? do you have to max the first or is it simultaneous? given the amount to choose from, it's not a bad idea
You set up everything. Everything is up to you whether you activate the gambit or not.
>that trailer
they sound too new
You unlock it in the licence board
There is 8 new track in the HD remaster, that's why: youtube.com
i can not into moon runes
Is it know if they changed the board layouts or skills?
God forbid you actually have to give your party some diversity rather than making everyone a healer.

>Most notably, it is now possible to have a character set with two job classes simultaneously, instead of just one in the International version. Once a character unlocks "L Board Plus" on the License Board, they can then select a second job to complement their abilities. Different combinations of jobs are certain to have some interesting results.
test
The licence boards are the same as the IZJS version and they added a "License Board Plus+" (costs 30 LP) which you see in the previous picture. Once you unlock it, you will be able to select a second license board so they have two license boards simultaneously. After unlocking a second board you'll be allowed to switch between the boards with Triangle button ingame. The job you use will be highlighted next the character name.

Autism?
Stop overeleveling
I'm excited for this because I never got to finish it.
But fuck that trailer was awful
one thing i'd like to know, are you stuck permanently to a job of your choosing?
Why is this still a PS exclusive? port to Steam.
As far as I remember, yes you are stuck with the two jobs you choose.
its shit
let me be able to give every weapon to every character
thats my choice
great thanks!
look at this little casual baby
Then just play the ps2 version... what's the problem?
I want it on STEAM
...
It's amazingly average and boring.
You can pirate it on PC
>steam
>2017
FFXII in my opinion had a beautifully written script, as in the way people speak, describe things and interact with each other.
What are you implying dumb frogposter?
Only thing I enjoyed about 12, was exploring the world and doing hunts. Those were great.
The actual story of the game is very bland, and taking out Vaan and Penelo doesn't make it any better, it just removes the best ass from the game.
Option #1: Turn them off
Option #2: Limit to a single gambit (Attack Enemy: Near)
Option #3: Don't over-level your characters
Option #4: Don't just run around the map with the turbo button on
Option #5: Don't play the Zodiac Age version where it dumps nearly EVERY gambit the game has into the shop, right at the beginning
Option #6: Don't buy any gambit from the shop
All gambits do is let YOU program your ATB actions in combat for each individual. Your character is only as smart as you make it. And expecting combat to be challenging if you just run around the early maps with the turbo button on, chaining 500 enemies together when auto-attack is all you need, gaining 30-40 levels over any plot-related enemies, is stupid.
I will.
>2017
>console
LMAO
You need to change the plot if you remove them.
>Console = $6.6 billions $
>PC = $35.8
So this is the power of PC..WAAA
>License Board Plus+
Fuck yes.
Better think of the job combination now if you're planing to play. I would say:
Basch: Archer/Knight
Ashe: Samurai/Time Mage
Penelo: Black Mage/Red Mage
Vann: Monk/Black Mage
Balthier: White Mage/ Uhlan
Fran: Red Mage/Machinist
>penelo not uhlan
pleb
Vaan: Shikari / Foebreaker
Balthier: Machinist / White Mage
Fran: Archer / Red Mage
Basch: Samurai / Uhlan
Ashe: Knight / Time Mage
Penelo: Monk / Black Mage
What the fuck is this trailer?
Was it made by watchmojo.com while also trying to make it look like Rockstar games trailers to pander to normal-fags?
Sound like a gamespot trailer
My one favourite in the series and it's among the few yet to see a PC release. I just wish they rolled this out for PC like all the other FFs. Anyone know why they didn't?
Had to add B to make figures look worthwhile xd
They will probably port this remaster later like they did with FFX/X-2 HD.
>guys how do we fix this dumbass gambit system
>i know, lets make every character have a fixed board to make it even less flexible
and you faggots actually defend this shite as being an improvement and "fixing literally everything".
What does the Job system/Licence Board have to with the Gambit system?
does it come to pc or should i just emulate the ps2 zodiac version?
>No playable Moogles, Bangaa, Seeq or Nu mou
Wasted
Both. FFX/X-2 came out on steam a year later.
Literally no one want to play as fat ass seeq
>he doesn't want to BRRRAAAAAAAAPP his enemies to death
They should have add alternates costumes for characters for each jobs for example like in pic related
IM FUCKING HYPE AS SHIT
FF BROS WW@?
HOLY FUCK I CAN'T WAIT ITS GOING TO BE SO GOOD ;_;
Autism?
They would have to redo the model for each character then to do models of them with the costumes etc That's too much for Square Enix.
How does this job system work? Does it replace the godawful license system?
>HOW DARE YOU GET EXCITED OVER A VIDEO GAME
Autism indeed
Literally lizard niggers
Representing
Not gonna lie, I'm hyped for it
Licence board is still there but limited to your Job.
Holy shit it's even worse
Pass on this garbage
In what way is it worst? Job system is one of things that usually present in FF games and give more identity to the characters.
Seems a bit OP if you can have the two jobs active simultaneously as opposed to being able to choose which job's abilities you want to have active at that moment.
Not as OP as vanilla.
Also it makes picking a job you don't like in the long run more forgiving.
Yeah but I felt like the PS2 IZJS was balanced enough as it was. Only problem was that half of the jobs were left unused which could be fixed by just being able to switch between two jobs per character.
They used the fanmade cover in the trailer lol
This is embarassing.
Gambits worked a lot better when you have all of them. Luckily the IZJS lets you buy all gambits from the start of the game.
Literally 10 years late. If only they changed the gameplay instead of copy pasting the jap version
so fucking happy this game is getting remastered wish there was a vita version too. Video seems dumb too but I guess it's for people who really aren't into the game that much I guess
Oh shit I actually watched this video. Is it fucking fan made or something?
I don't understand the hype for this. It's just FF12 with a shitty, restrictive job system. The original game allowed you to specialize your characters however you wanted. What's superior about being forced into class-based roles that limit character skills? There's no reason why you can't play the original game with self-imposed restrictions, if you're just looking for a challenge. People do that shit with FF10 all the time.
Also, SE "enhanced" ports are always poorly optimized garbage riddled with bugs. Stop giving your money to this company.
>The script is amazing.
Unless you're praising the original Japanese script, then your praise is without merit. The English translation makes up a ton of shit and has little to do with the spirit of the original game. I shudder to think SE bothered to outsource translations for other languages. Those regions probably ended up with something akin to the Spanish translation of FF7.
Not Alexander O smith did a great translation like he did for Ivalice games in general.
The english one of course: youtube.com
It looks like it.
