-batmobile was a mistake, boring mundane tasks, side quests wasn't very interesting (riddlers is just garbage), dissapointing villians and bossfights
+love the city aesthetics, looks very pretty and well detailed, destructable environments and joker being joker.
3 games was more than enough for this franchise.
Controls were all over the place at the last game, couldnt play this for shit
Medics are annoying as fuck. They are fine in stealth parts since you can sabotage them but in a fight with two shock brutes and two shock stick guys we don't need more people being electrified
Fun.
The BatTank sections were less fun.
Just spam the batclaw
i really dislike pretty much everything about it compared to arkham city except maybe the graphics
I think it was the game where I truly felt that turning something into some Ubisoft-esque open world sandbox game vastly lowers its overall quality.
Defusing bombs wasn't fun, chasing APCs wasn't fun, finding firefighters wasn't fun, taking out guardposts and roadblocks for the nth time wasn't fun, blowing up the same fucking drones wasn't fun...
And as for the villains, it almost felt like they ran out of budget to properly implement any of them outside of Scarecrow and Arkham Knight, with Blackfire, Man-Bat and Hush being the worst examples who are almost irrelevant to the game and Two Face and Penguin don't fare any better.
The less said about the Riddler-shit the better - I don't blame anyone who looked up the best ending on Youtube.
I replayed Arkham Asylum just afterwards and it was such a way more focused and tightly designed game, even with all its flaws and somewhat unrefined gameplay elements, that the difference was just baffling.
I unironically liked batmobile. it looked so cool and so fucking rutheless
tanks are cool
batmobile is cool
but you slobs literally did not create bosses, and filled the thing with tanks
that is bad, guise
I think there's a reason that actively decided to stop making games after three games. You can tell they didn't know where else to take the games mechanically. What other reason would they give up a cash cow ip like Batman?
Gameplay was fantastic and storywise it's a pretty solid game with great villains.
If it weren't for the batmobile, it could have been easily the best Arkham game.
I agree with you but I still think AK was better than AC
AA>>>>>>>>AK>AC to me
Is this even open world anymore?
There is still many things the add game play-wise. I think it's more of a story/ senerio problem when it comes to implementing the gameplay mechanics to them.
That Riddler "find the solution to the clue" stuff honestly didn't work at such a large scale.
In the end you don't try to actively solve those and instead just go to an area and click around like an idiot in hope that the solution or a "object too small/obscured" pops up.
Hell, you probably end up just checking random objects that sort of look important in hope that something triggers.

>Deathstroke
>Close-combat tacticool specialist
>Boss fight uses a tank
what were they thinking?
DUDE VEHICLES LMAO
Game shouldve been called "Become the Batmobile"
Not a bad game, by almost inferior in every way from its predecessor besides combat and overworld. Batmobile feels great to control and has seamless transition to combat mode. Too bad thats 80% of the game and it starts to lose its "fun." Bosses suck besides 2 of them, checklist side missions, and a okay story.
6/10
Beats mashing X to Bamham.
Any part with the Batmobile threw me back to the games of the original Xbox era. You'd have the regular missions and then the shitty driving missions that nobody likes or remembers because the gameplay is rushed and it feels more like something they shoved in as extra to quickly add last minute content. The controls usually suck, the map design is usually pretty shit and the whole mission feels really out of place, like it shouldn't exist at all.
They didn't want to rehash Deathstroke Origins' combat and Arkham's FreeFlow combat isn't suited for 1v1, so instead of shoehorning it in, they decided to not do it at all and use the mechanic they thought would be best.
>they didn't want to do better than last time
>so they just decided not to do it at all
Fuck me.
City > Knight > Asylum > Origins
Batmobile was cool as fuck. The only weird part was making the Deathstroke fight a tank fight. Other than that, it was great.
Knight also had the best predator segments with the amazing new distruptror and hack tool.
I also didn't have any performance problems whatsoever since I played Knight pretty late after all the patches so my opinion is not effected by that.
they got one thing right
>rule34hentai still using shitty anti-adblock
>gurochan down again
WHERE DO I GET MY SFM PORN
This. Surely there's a way to get around adblock blocks.
Out of all the deaths, this one hit me the hardest.
just block the fucking scripts in ublock
works for me
What a depressingly mediocre ending to what started out as an amazing franchise.
WB ruin everything they touch.
The game has a lot of issues but for me the worst one was that after everything you do you have to fucking sit around and do nothing whilst Batman facetimes Alfred or Lucius or Oracle or whoever.
I think after almost every objective you complete it happens. There was even a part fairly early on where you're going into a chemical factory to rescue 5 hostages and defuse a bomb and you have to stand around talking to Alfred/Jim fucking TWICE for about 30 seconds at a time. It just completely removes any sense of urgency from the game.
All they had to do was just have the conversations happen in the background whilst your gliding/driving from one place to another but for some reason you have to fucking stop what you're doing every few minutes to hear some boring, largely redundant dialogue.
I didn't hate the batmobile but
>Riddler riddle
>a racetrack
Real mind boggling shit
>you get a new one mere minutes later despite Fox initially saying that it's a one of a kind
This might have been the dumbest part of the whole game. Why bother having the batmobile be destroyed if it causes no real problems and you get a new one literally moments later.
youtu.be
Console port with new mobiles (Mothmobile for example) when?
>broad shoulders
Wait. I 100% the game and didn't get to play as Harley. What did I miss?
I thought ak was one of the best games I've played. I haven't played the other Arkham games though. I did hate the riddler bullshit. Tank part was fun but didnt feel very Batman like.
DLC and it's terrible, Harleys ass is its only saving grace.
couldn't care less about the riddler, should've had boss fights like in AC/AO, wish the other batmobiles had their own weapon systems especially the BVS and Tumbler mobiles. Otherwise good game, 8/10 ,
>This might have been the dumbest part of the whole game
And in a game with a Riddler power loader, Riddler racetracks, a half-assed attempt to justify unmanned tanks and Bruce not using Hush as a "get out of shit free"-card that's saying a lot.
playing through the game without upgrades is kinda hard
You can have her for thr melee trials, though, which is fun.

Couldn't be bothered to finish this shit. Traded it in, watched the cut scenes on Youtube. I don't regret my decision. Had more fun with Origin desu.
The "So, where the fuck is Superman or any of the others?"-issue got more and more prominent with each game due to the escalating treat level.
Asylum kinda acknowledged at least Superman's existence and his abscence was explained by Joker having the asylum by the balls with his bombs.
But by now you were fighting a literal army on your own - you'd think SOMEONE outside the bat family would finally come to help, even with Bruce telling them he can handle this.
Great game. Not as good as City but better than the other two. I like the way the story utilized the Joker, but the Arkham Knight character was hilariously mishandled. The Batmobile only bothered me during the endless tank battles during the bomb disposal missions. The rest was great. I loved tearing around the city in it, the Riddler's races/obstacle courses were fun as fuck, I enjoyed the occasional light puzzle solving, and even the boss fights were fun and fairly intense (although they shouldn't have been the ONLY boss fights; that was a terrible decision). I also had a lot of fun taking down the checkpoints throughout the city. Add in the improvements to the combat and predator sections and it's an all around great game and extremely underrated. I think the botched PC port and lame story caused people to be more harsh on it that it deserves.
>Destroy some tanks after defusing a bomb
>Deathstroke gets on the radio
>"You won't fair better when you're facing me in a MANNED drone"
>Pray to god he's joking.
That's some shit taste right there.
I prefer Arkham without Superman. He doesn't fit at all. I don't need Clark flying in, picking up the Cloudburst and throwing it into the sun twenty minutes into the game.
He's right though.
>Arkham Asylum: Arkham Asylum
>Arkham City: A walled off section of the city with no civilians where criminals are everywhere.
>Arkham Origins: Few pedestrians out and about and criminals pretty much everywhere doing whatever they want regardless of where they are.
>Arkham Knight: Basically Arkham City on a wider scale.
I hope the next game ditches the "criminal free-for-all no-man's-land" concept.
>We wanna ride the Batmobile
>repeat for 3 games
I am somewhat convinced that all the Batmobile sections in the game were Rocksteady lashing out at their fans and telling them that they don't want the Batmobile
