The only answer.
Remember when Konami was not afraid of pushing out a fuckton of Yu-Gi-Oh! games, most of them with their own rules separated from the classic Duel Monsters rules and with original plots, some of them forming their own continuity?
I know Yu-Gi-Oh is not anymore popular as it was years ago, but i liked the risquée approach they had with its videogames; i wish they still had it.

The WC series has better storylines, but fuck all those puzzles ands unnecessary non card game bullshit they threw in. Tag Force looked prettier and had weird sim date mechanics so people like it too
This so much.
Just wish the single player campaign was longer.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist is very fun and I believe presents the ultimate Yugioh experience, even if its DLC is way too overpriced.
Legacy of the Duelist was pretty fun but I disliked how they modified story decks with cards that didn't exist at the time. For example, the Harpie deck on Battle Island has all that Harpie support that didn't come out until Battle City and GX
Really this
I think they mostly did a pretty good job in being faithful to the Anime episodes being adapted. I can't really blame them for giving them cards that fit the theme, especially since not enough cards were used by some characters in the anime to fill out a full deck. Plus, they made sure not to give her cards that were too OP for the time.
One of my favorite things was that in the level of Yugi's duel with Mako, Yugi uses an Attack the Moon! deck with rock monsters in keeping with the ludicrous way Yugi beat Mako in the anime.
the best yugioh gba game
Dungeon Dice Monsters is the best.
Duelist of the Roses, aka YuGiOh chess is pretty good.
Forbidden Kingdom is one of the strangest licensed games I've ever seen, whoever saw a card game and was like 'hey let's just make an Ogre Battle game' is clearly insane. but the game is good and there aren't many Ogre Battle games so it works.
Out of all the actual card games I think Eternal Duelist Soul on GBA was my favorite, no stupid JRPG overworld, very very good looking and sounding interface, cards are mostly decent and decks aren't of the 'lel i shit out my entire deck on turn 2 and win' modern Yu-Gi-Oh variety, you actually have to play the game.
>do well
>opponent just happens to have snatch steal + jinzo
Or the alternate
>opp sets down 4 trap cards turn 1
>trap hole, torrential tribute, mirror force and magic cylinder
Happens way too often.
I really liked the Battle Pack/Sealed Duel mode
And (for example) Forbidden Memories was broken as fuck as soon as you got the right cards, but i still commend the thought process behind the development of not wanting to make just the usual strict to the source material formula.
to be fair Forbidden Memories is also a piece of shit where the CPU opponents don't even have decks and just play any card they want at any time.
Why are there even cowboys in Japan?
I have that game. It's fucking balls to the wall hard to finish since there is so much grinding
It is definitely the most successful
MUH NIGER
just duel tea over and over, she'll give you the most points when you beat her since she recovers life points constantly.
so, are people still just playing dinosaurs and true kangz even after links happened?
was all this "new DUEA 2.0 powercreep" just shilling?
>tfw sucked ass at this game and couldn't progress after the first few duels
how did people do well
I liked Nightmare Troubadour the best.
Loved this shit, I would never stray away from the "theme" of the original deck you got, so I would have an amped up water deck or fire ect
had to gamefaqs the exam stuff though
id like this game if gx didnt suck
Links are at least a month away. But, yeah, a lot of people are preparing their decks for links and getting Blue Eyes Ritual decks.
Good thing my deck only needs one XYZ to work and I don't really get to give a shit about links.
Decklist?
WC2010.
Tag Force
Besides the waifuing, I loved how everyone has 3D models and voice acting during duels, well if you played the nip versions anyway for the latter, hell some of the random NPCs even get their own unique draws too by the time 6 hits
The fact that Special took those two things away is why I don't care for it, even if its card selection is better
Was that the PSP one?
I tried to play that as (or with chazz?) I can't remember if you're an OC and I got my shit stomped by the first people I tried to vs
Wish it got an updated ban list and more cards.
Agreed
Look at the OCG decklists senpai. True King Dinos dont need links, but if you really want, just add 1 missus radiant and you're ready.
I just want a Yugioh game that let's you battle through the different banlists throughout it's history. Building a deck that works for certain time periods and metas would be a blast.
I like how the story mode doesn't give a fuck about banlists. They even have the guy with 3 copies of each Exodia piece and multiple Graceful Charities.
