The final fantasy 15 kingsglaive was pretty good.

The POSTAL movie.

This

my favorite part about this whole movie is how RWS gave no fucks about licensing their IP to uwe boll
like, they knew full well boll was a terrible director who released so many bomb movies, but they just decided "yeah, let's go with it and see what happens" and it just amazingly turned out pretty good.

Spy Kids 3

>Demon monsters? This is retard
>Let's make them virus mutants, it have much more sense

>Contrived Shit That Doesn't Matter: The Movie
>Good.

I unironically like the first Mortal Kombat film

If this and Witcher (although technically not a Vidya show) do things right then it might give studios to adapt Vidya stories faithfully instead of trying to tone down the more ridiculous shit like in DOOM or MK.

PS I enjoyed the first Mortal Kombat.

Silent Hill and Warcraft were ok. Nothing amazing but they were entertaining.

Silent Hill was pretty good.

Max Payne. Totally made sense to cast Ludacris

Ace Attorney

>that dude with the crucifix in the movie that still called them demons

couldn't make up their minds it seems

>tfw paid to see this

>2017
>Still no Masters of Doom movie

I'm annoyed

Seconding this. Terribly underrated movie.
all thanks to the child massacre scene

I've got...one round

Always liked this movie

I don't get why people shit on it, what did you expect a street fighter movie to look like?

Mortal Kombat, Tomb Raider and FF:TSW

The second Silent Hill movie was pretty decent desu

it could have been, and eventually, got much much worse

What about vidya novel?

A second SH movie? Please, elaborate

The first Dead Rising movie is actually pretty fun.

>Karl and the Urban Rock

People shit on it, but the Need for Speed movie was everything everyone expected and it delivered.

Ffs they went back to the roots of the franchise with illegal street racing

Shit I didn't even know this existed

There's a second one?

TSW was an alright movie but had nothing to do with Final Fantasy other than naming a character Cid.

???
Go on, I haven't heard about this

>The first Silent Hill movie was pretty amazing
FTFY

Yup, and it's ten times edgier than the first one.

Jon Snow and his dad are in it.

Warcraft and Assassins Creed were great.

No. Video games are so infantile that you can't even create a good blockbuster with them.

i really loved this movie and then felt really disappointed that nobody else did

pyramid head has a sword fight to save the girl at the end, it's so bad it's good

also malcolm mcdowell does his best malcolm mcdowell impression at one point

>the rock going the high on his hairline

lol

I liked the Prince of Persia movie.

Sure, it's not Hollywood fault at all.

Fuck, even fan movies from New Vegas are better than official adaptations

I couldn't believe that Malcolm McDowell was in Fist of the North Star a well.

A movie focusing on Ryu and Ken doesn't seem like much to ask.

That's what I'd want from a Street Fighter movie, at least to start.

The first Resident Evil is a great movie

first one is legit good, if safe, horror flick

the others are pure mental junkfood and pretty alright too

>and it just amazingly turned out pretty good.
No it didn't, it's an Uwe Boll movie through and through. I don't know where you disgusting hipster shits are parroting this from. Probably some youtuber.

Yes! There's only ONE good live action vidya movie IMO, and that's Mortal Kombat. The other 4 are animated: The two Dead Space movies, and the two CGI Resident Evil movies are superb

I think an action/sports/comedy type movie would be great starring Dan.

Similar to The Spirits Within, they're decent action-horror movies but aren't really Resident Evilovies at all aside from some name drops.

I've had this dream before, but today I had it again I don't know why

I'm the Super Mario Bros. Movie director, and I'm trying to direct Dennis Hopper in a scene where he's snorting sugar instead of cocaine, and he just wouldn't do the stuff I wanted him to, and yet HE doesn't know what to do, I'm THIS CLOSE to killing him because it's been 2 hours and we haven't rolled a second of footage.

i'd say the first 3 are good, everything else after that is a travesty

I think the looks were the least of its problems, lad.

>Dan Hibiki movie
Written by Dan Hibiki, directed by Dan Hibiki, and starring Dan Hibiki. Produced by Dan Hibiki and Dan Hibiki Studios

That was one of the biggest piles of shit I ever saw in the theater.

I knew it was going to be bad, but I went with my brother (who is a big Street Fighter fan) so we would have something to laugh at together. Turns out it wasn't even good for that.

>pyramid head has a sword fight to save the girl at the end
Yeah I'll pass

Some of the gaylo books are p. good.

It was okay.

Executive Producer
Speed Weed

Ryu hasn't been the main character in the Street Fighter plot since 1

I think the CIA tampered with his brain and now he thinks he's waldo and putting himself in movies for people to find

>Speed Weed
Perfect! Let's launch this into production. It'll be an autobiodrama of Dan Hibiki!

Movie Nemesis was pretty tight

I unironically enjoyed this movie.

Hitman movie with Olyphant and the first 2 Resident evil movies were pretty kino

The Doom movie is worth it only for the first-person scene.

youtube.com/watch?v=fH61uqfZqxQ

Prince of Persia

did umbrella hire someone to be his tailor?

Doom was a good Movie, it just wasn't a good doom movie. In the same way doom 3 was a good game, just a bad doom game

The movies that accompanied Dead Space 1 and RE5 are decent.
Sonic movie was good.
I guess the first 2 live action Resident Evils are okay.
This movie is garbage, don't listen to them. The only good part is the 2 minute scene with the movie poster monster and a few set piece designs.

I still believe that they were Demons, one because they never explain where the 25th chromossome came from, and Dr. Carmack plea to ''shut it down''

I'm pretty sure that if there was a sequel they would have gone to hell, The Rock said in a interview that he might come back as a demon, judging from the movie he'd most likely play the Cyberdemon since he rolls the metal railing in the arm where the gun would be and stuff.

What baffles me about this is that they were going to do the whole hell thing with Doom but didn't, I don't even know why the Doom movie would be an Alien knock-off

The second movie legit gave me nightmares and it was the one where the hordes of zombies actually felt scary

>Silent Hill
this. Silent hill is comfy as fuck to watch and is a cult classic

Fall of Reach was great. The sense of hopelessness and dread, and seeing how Spartans are created and look to other Marines was really interesting. I'd love to see it made into a film with high production values.

Shot another scene until the faggot feels like snorting sugar or replace the scene.

I read about that movie, they actually had scenes of the heads exploding but the studio thought it was so violent and gory they demanded to cut it down and cancelled the theatrical run which is why it's only a direct-to-video release

Doom is actually good. Great cast, great visuals thanks to expert cinematographer turned director Andrzej Bartkowiak, good action, FPS scene is classic.

Mortal Kombat is great.

James Remar Raiden is the best thing to happen to film since color.

Video games is usually based on movies, so it is hard to make a good movie adaptation of vidya which was inspired by a movie.
pic related

are you kidding me
MORTAL KOMBAT

This. If the name of the director wasn't Uwe Boll, it would get way better ratings.

Postal's probably the best. His other game films are pretty fucking atrocious but Alone in the Dark had three or four music videos attached, so that was neat. BloodRayne was fucking hilariously bad. The first RE is okay but pretty tangential. The Halo Animatrix-esque stuff ranges from shit to pretty fun. DOOM's bad but whatever. Prince of Persia is inoffensive but not very fun. MK and SF are bad but had some decent scenes. I feel like i'm missing a few movies but i'm not sure what.

Too bad (You) will die.

Isn“t that what Assassins fist was?

The movie was crappy but the techniques used to make the FPS scenes were genuinely impressive

Why'd Kojima make Kaz white

The first Mortal Kombat movie is entertaining, but I wouldn't call it good.

Time will tell if we will ever get a legitimately "good" movie based on a video game, like what The Dark Knight did to comic book movies. With all the releases that have come out over the last 20+ years though, the chances are looking less and less likely.

Why do you care?

How does anyone let him touch anything?

>Albert Einstein
>van Damme
>Sean Connery
kek

Because it's weird and makes the franchise inconsistent

German law is interesting about their movies. You can earn over half of what you spent back on the movie, so he's always got enough money to make shitty movies all the fucking time.

Wasn't this in second one?

It actually stayed true to Postal.

I found some of the characters acted weird in that movie but it might just be because I interpreted them differently in the games compared to how the writers of the movie did.
Also combining the roles of two or more characters into one is such a weird thing to do in an adaptation. I don't know why so many things have done it.

I'm more confused at why he changed his name from McDonnell to Kaz

replace the sugar for actual cocaine

I genuinely like the Mario Bros movie, I think it's so bizzare that it's good.
