How do you avoid the pinball Armstrong as Sam

>more and better weapons
>on-the-fly weapon switching
>less awkward parrying controls
>better looking environments
>fewer technical limitations and fewer obvious loading screen segments
>more complex level design
>better stealth mechanics
>more interesting ripper mode
>dodge and taunt moves for Raiden
>main villain that is active for most of the game and isn't thrown in at the last minute
>story that has personal connections to Raiden
>codec companions that are more relevant to the main plot

Also the plot is that Armstrong's nanomachines technology got out and now all the enemies are nanomachines and Raiden has to deal with the prospect of being obsolete.
