I got a real good feeling about paper mario switch, boys

I got a real good feeling about paper mario switch, boys

sure, if you happen to like Rabbids and nothing to do with paper-ANYTHING

Nothing to do with paper mario my man. We're getting the legit 3rd game this time. I can feel it.

Colour Splash was somewhat of an improvement over Sticker Star

>Getting your hopes up for a new non-shit Paper Mario
>Ever

>legit 3rd game

I'd say Super Paper Mario was the legit 3rd game. It was really fun and its gimmick wasn't cancer like Sticker Star. But I do hope they return to form for when they do make another.

Nope it was dogshit actually

But they took some steps backward in a lot of ways too. Like for example Sticker Star lets you arrange the cards in a grid, Color Splash just gives you a single horizontal row. Its retarded.

Really? I liked it. That could just be because I grew up with that game though.

It's remarkable, SPM was the black sheep for 6 years until we saw just how low those new IS devs could really take it.

Objective rankings coming through:

64: 9.5/10
TTYD: 10/10
Super: 8/10
Sticker Star: 3/10
Color Splash: 6/10

Yep that'd be why. It's objectively really bad. Color Splash was better than SPM.

>super
>8
lmao no

DATZ A NICE ORIGINONAL IDEA FOR DAH PAPER MARIO SERIEEZ YOUVU GOT DERE, user...

IT SHORE WOULD BE A SHAME IF SOMEWON WERE TO FUCKIT ALL UPO!

I agree except for Colour Splash. Haven't played that game so I don't have an opinion of it .

super paper mario killed the series. if it had flopped they wouldn't have started tacking gimmicks onto each new game.

Quick Sup Forums rank the partners from 1 and 2 in terms on how useful they are in battle!

You're right. It's a 9/10.

Paper mario 64 and TYD were my fav games, but I lost all hope in the series.

Do I wish Super was a traditional PM game? Definitely. But I can remove my bias and admit it was a good fun game. SS and CS were fucking trash though.

Pretty good feeling it'll be shit.

I don't. The PM series only reflects the wants of the current fanbase, and people who want jrpgs are a minority. This is the whole reason the last few games have been spinoff quality.

tl;dr money>quality

>Super was a complete departure from the other two, but it was still really good
>Sticker Star was some half-assed attempt at going back to the original while also trying to reinvent the wheel
>Color Splash was another slightly-more-assed attempt at going back to the original, but made sure not to go so far back that they'd be admitting they were wrong

Just fucking give us a legit Paper Mario 3 or go crazy again, this middle of the road shit isn't working.

but it wasn't a good game

color splash sold like dog shit and had huge backlash from fans
