>you now remember this freeware masterpiece

Oh fuck I played this. It was awesome. The alien in the giant robot was the best.

Not obscure

5 different monsters that you can play each with their own powers (the brain shoots out electricity) and you destroy cities, buildings, bridges. At the end there's a score for like the total $ damage and casualties

jesus christ dude it's one of SEGA's best known

roadrunner cartoons? hah! roadrunner cartoons?!

Legit a better Metroidvania than some of the newer games in the genre.

This game would NEVER fly today.

...

I saw ads for this on the back cover of some game manuals when I was a kid, but never got it. What was it like?

It was a kart racing game with planes. It had a dog fight mode and other stuff, all the characters had a story mode with a lot of cutscenes.

One of the few examples of alignment done right. Also a fun game.

Ah, neat. Thanks.

Fine you happy now?

I don't think this was obscure, but I never hear anything about it.

Never head of that one

...

Is this obscure in some way?
Never heard it mentioned and only bought it on a whim back in the day.
Also my data got corrupted so I never finished it. Still own the game but don't have a PS2 to play it.

...

Forgot pic

...

Oh sweet, so like a 3d rampage sort of. Ill have to try to find it & try it, thanks man!

...

I used to jerk it to this ad

I still own it.
I remember it sucking, very early PS2.

Well done OP, I'm interested.

There was a game like this called Muon that is pretty obscure

Good game, emulates smooth as butter, too. Got quite a bit of the way through it but then got immensely bored during a Sphinx dungeon for whatever reason. Then my hard drive died, so I'll likely never finish it.

that was on like every apple computer in the 90s. I spent hundreds of hours playing it and creating levels.
