He isn't waiting for Vega

>he isn't waiting for Vega
What's the matter with you?

but I am. mostly because I'm getting no fucking money until the end of next month, but I am

Already have a gpu, and not upgrading for a while.

I'm here now,
you peasants can stop waiting.

After the Fury X flopped, I can't defend ATI any more. 290x was evidently a stroke of luck and they will probably never make another good card.

>waiting
Sounds about right.

or is this vega the one you are waiting for??

I'm happy with my RX 460

what does the R cube do?

>waiting
What are you, poor? I upgrade every time there is a new top consumer GPU

i've had a 770 forever. i'm perpetually waiting for a reason to upgrade

>waiting for Vega

I have two 970s, I'm waiting another two-three years to upgrade.

>If I keep waiting then their cards will surly be close to Nvida performance wise by a hair!
>AMD

It's like getting kicked in the balls over and over. Why can't they fucking compete?

the vega should be comparable to the 1070 acording to some reports and my ass, so maybe it's a worthy upgrade but I wouldn't bet too much money on it

>buying AMD
enemy of your freedom

Seriously? Why does AMD suck so much dick at high end performance? I wish there was another manufacturer that competed better with Nvidia at the high end stuff

so whatever happened with the 480 then

was it just that extra power draw and everyone forgot about it after that

Then by the time Vega comes out Nvida will announce the 1090 or something and get 3 steps ahead of AMD while AMD contemplates suicide again...

In a duopoly neither company needs to try harder as long as both companies know their roll.

Nvidia will have better performing products at a premium, which AMD doesn't need to beat in performance. AMD is fine as long as they just charge less than Nvidia. It saves AMD from investing in r&d, and they can charge whatever they want as long as it's cheaper.

It ain't that good or anything, but I'll still pick it up since AMD's hardware is cheaper than the nvidia alternative. I'd just pick up a 1070, but there's been some reported errors with the ryzen 5 and I don't wanna risk it. And yes, I know
>AMD CPUs
but I'm trying to save money and the ryzen 5 falls right in the sweet spot I'm looking for, along with fitting my micro mobo and small case

Ass pulling aside, knowing AMD you're probably right. Fucking nuts I have a 2 year old 980ti, and EVERY AMD card announced is still inferior.

Duopolies can be just as toxic to consumers as monopolies are. If AMD was actually aiming to be the best then it would be different, but AMD is just fine coasting to keep them afloat.

I just ordered all the parts for my 1080 build :^)
Fuck off back to Sup Forums, shill

1080 TI vs Vega Nova?

I'm buying one or the other in a few months. Which is just purely better for 4K 60fps?

>1080 Ti
Lol, implying the Vega will even come close to the 1080.

This is no troll, but if you are legit playing highly intense graphic games, neither will pull 4k/60 fps maxed graphics, that's still just too much for most current systems. Now, if you're aiming for medium level graphics, then you are good. Either way the 1080ti by far. I'd go MSI/EVGA are best.

>waiting for Another Massive Disappointment

...

Your mom had to wait nine months for hers

Zotac has been nailing it ever since the GTX 900 series though.

I have a R7 370. Should I upgrade?

KEK

Fuck, let him live, user.

ayy

I know, my brother is a dipshit.

samefag

...

Are you me?

You can stop now.

>samefag

Wrong

I'm waiting for Vega because I got cucked by my Freesync display and Nvidia are fucking cunts for not supporting an open and free standard (there's zero reason why their drivers can't support both).

Otherwise I would've bought a 1080ti by now.

brb mspaint

You are stood

>mfw still rocking a GT9800 from like 2009

Is it time?

Eh almost

What's the deal with the ''R'' cube?
