This game is pretty fun when it actually works.

Stay away from open paths and head straight for buildings. I fail at teleport grab when people weave in and out of the scenery.

Oh yeah it is, I'm a little burnt out after 30 hours over 3 days with some friends.
They need to fix the server issues for one thing, and then do some minor balancing on jason. Nothing too serious, maybe just work on his grab mechanic. Maybe give him a cooldown between uses and after shift, not a long one, or make it so he actually has to hurt you a little first before he grabs you or it's easier to break free.

By some miracle I've been able to play all day, but shit like my Jason kills being unequipped and the game freezing saving them hinders my enjoyment pretty bad.

At least I learned that if you don't equip any kills it gives you the two basic ones the choke and weapon kill.

The server shit hasn't really affected any of us, sometimes we get the database login error but it doesn't last long.
Only issue we get is being completely unable to customize perks/executions or roll perks unless we're in a lobby, which is never long enough to change anything.

There's an option in the customization menu that lets you put a spawn priority as Jason, but it just increases your chances.

It's not the best system, but it prevents having more Jason players over counselors.

The first step is realizing large weapons are for cheap shots only.

Hitting Jason is very useful in plenty of situations, and multiple people attacking Jason can get away with it if you're not actually trying to just straight up engage him. Jason can't grab you if other people are hovering around.

The real question is why you would think trying to 1v1fitemefagit Jason should end in anything other than you dying?

I got the game on launch day and have played him a grand total of once, with the preference selected the whole time.

Anyone else stuck at lvl 15? I got like 70% exp and I've played 5 - 7 games and still not leveled up. Really wish they would fix this soon.

I have no idea why Jason 9 is unlocked at level 31 and there's absolutely nothing else to unlock between level 20 and 31. The only reason I see is maybe having the Savini Jason in there somewhere, but I wouldn't know because I'm an idiot who thought that Jason came with backing the game not as a complete separate purchase on the website.

Part 7 Jason is where it's at. So satisfying to menacingly walk towards while they stumble and run away.

His strength is only negligibly worse, and has better stealth and really good composure, so he doesn't just automatically attract Jason at all times, and has a better time escaping.. Also has an intelligence stat that isn't 1 so he can do objectives if he has to.

Make use of your sense ability's long range. Use it with morph to try and predict the right spot to drop close to them. Then follow up with shift.

Because it's so difficult to hide from him, he's great for endurance hunting, the counselors will inevitably get tired if you don't let them have a chance to rest. Sense also helps for covering the escape objectives. Helps keep all the counselors on their toes if you keep morphing between objectives when using stalk.

They already said they plan to do free single player for summer (probably delayed though) and more content.

The same way you utilize all of the other Jasons, shift on top of them and immediately grab. The only Jasons you can play to fully chase somebody until they're out of stamina and slowly close in on them are the running Jasons or non running Jasons with a bonus to shift like 6 and 9.

Also make liberal use of Sense, Jason 7 can freely spam that shit every 5 seconds, absolutely NOBODY can hide from him because of this.

Really the whole point of the car is to ditch as many people as possible as they chase you and scream for help/obscenities.

Stalk comes way too late in the match for it to be useful, by the time you unlock it you should have killed half the counselors or more already. And then Rage mode is not too far later which makes Destruction obsolete.

The steps to kill Jason are ridiculous:

>Someone spawns as him
>Beat the shit out of Jason until he loses his mask
>A female Counselor needs to steal the Sweater from his cabin
>Tommy needs a Machete and to wear Jason's mask
>Sweater Counselor stuns Jason with Q
>Tommy gets a unique kill animation when he uses (E) the Machete on Jason

I completely agree with you. Warp grabbing is not fun. I never do it when I'm Jason. I ham up the role and have fun with it. The game is way more fun when you are slowly stalking people, smashing windows/doors, and cutting the power. I play it like that and usually 1 or 2 counselors escape. That's fine with me. Trying to minmax this game and treating it like an esport sucks all the fun out of it.

Well it kind of makes sense, since killing fucking Jason is fucking impossible. Killing Jason is the most complicated method cause it's the most difficult and nigh impossible method. It's why every other method is super easy in comparison

Seriously, I played with a premade on ps4 a while ago and had a fucking blast just scaring the shit out of them. The microphone proximity thing is awesome. I didn't even know you could unlock other Jason's with different stats because I was having too much fun scaring people.

Reminder to not just individually click the doors as Jason for every swing, if you keep the mouse button pressed then Jason won't go into recovery animation after every hit, making your door busting twice as fast. Play a Jason with Destruction and its like you have rage from the very start of the game.

Also remember that Jason destroys doors that aren't barricaded in one hit.

Remember to remove door early.
