IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT
What needs to be fixed for Bloodborne 2?
Better use for the arcane stat
Better scaling for chalice dungeons
Make bloodtinge and arcane viable in NG rather than later in higher cycles
Umbasa!
AWAY AWAY!
there better not be a BB2
and if there is, it better not be just a continuation in the same world.
Not boring levels.
More Central Yharnam / Forbidden woods, less Nightmare of Mensis.
>"I want to play less games"
Get fucked.
>Not "the sweet bloodborne thread"
Damn it OP
Kos or Kosm?
While I somewhat agree that arcane could use some more options, I also don't want them to make it the same as DS and just make Arcane = Spellcasting. I like how bloodtinge and arcane were both support stats that could shine as a main state only once you got special weapons and items. The problem was that bloodtinge seemed much more useful since more things scaled with it.
Gehrman:
Best arena
Best music
Best weapon
Best armor
Best parry animation
Best fight in general of the base game
Prove me wrong
AWAY AWAY
More side characters with quests.
they need to show Ludwig cucking Gehrman away from Lady Maria
What was Micolash trying to to in the nightmare?
Why is he called "Host of the Nightmare" if the nightmare still exists after he dies?
Covenants are more important. I don't really think we need more side quest than we got or the game will feel bloated.
>best arena
yes
>best music
oh yes
>best weapon
debatable
>best armor
nah
>best parry animation
Lady Maria
>best fight in base game
best fight in general, just a bit more than Ludwig
he was trying to get closer to the ayy lmaos with his antenna
he wanted to be enlightened just like Laurence and Willem, but a bit differently? can't be arsed to remember
Enemy hunters. The AI isn't too good, so they "balanced" it by giving them limitless bullets and stamina. Make 'em smarter and give them limited stamina, and limited bullets that reset when you die. That way it's still punishing, but fair, and it doesn't feel as much like you're fighting a robot.
Why does Maria have disdain for blood weapons, but during the fight she clearly uses blood? She even turns into some magic fire shit in her final stage.
More importantly, why the fuck can't we do that shit with Rakuyo? I need to weeb it up.
Rom is the most fun fight
Maria can do all the crazy blood shit because of her lineage shes supposedly a distant relative of annalise if I remember right which means shes a vileblood.
Best arena easily, but Ebrietas' music is better
>arena
>Tfw looking for your bloodstain
>you will never play BB at 60fps
man it hurts
I hope it doesn't start out the same way where you fight something the developers expect you to die to and not actually beat.
No gems. No dungeons.
The Blood Gem system was fine, the Chalice Dungeons can go fuck off though. Chalice Dungeons was just running through the same god damn 4 rooms over and over again and then grinding for Blood Gems.
Bloodborne didn't have that though.
I think more variety with the chalice dungeons would've been nice. The same-ness got old really fast.
Only the framerate, and give me a completely different setting than Yharnam.
Other than that it's perfect, I just want more
They expect you to die to the beast in the clinic.
You have your bare hands that do 2-4 damage.
You don't know how Bloodborne backstabs work until you read the messages in the Dream.
And the first thing they pit you up against is a mid-tier mob that will two-shot you in a game where poise doesn't exist.
Not sure. I thought he was supposed to be like Gherman for the dream but I don't know how it works.
They expect you to run the fuck away like any sane person would. They don't expect you to fight a monster with your bare fists.
Jizm
>run the fuck away
>it's blocking the doorway
>it has aggro range for days
FUCK ALL THE REPLIES TO THIS POST
IF THERE'S A BLOODBORNE 2, IT NEEDS TO DO MORE WITH THE INSIGHT SYSTEM
BOSSES DO DIFFERENT ATTACKS AT HIGHER OR LOWER INSIGHT
DIFFERENT ENEMIES AT DIFFERENT INSIGHTS
MORE CHANGES IN THE SCENERY
DIFFERENT DIALOGUE OPTIONS
30 fps feels a lot better Pc friend.
>running
I almost beat that fucker with my bare fists my first time ever playing, but i ended up dying the next couple times pretty quickly. It took me a while to figure out how to equip a weapon and shit. It started a little confusingly
What is this weird homosexual/European Bruce Willis nightmare.
If you honestly believe that then I don't know what to say.
Sam Lake, writer of Alan Wake and also worked on Max Payne.
You have fists that do barely any damage. How is your first reaction not to run the fuck away until you get a weapon? Looking at youtube videos it seems most people just try to fight it right away and die but the point is you don't have to die to it you can just run to the first lamp which is really close by.
I'd rather they just drop chalice dungeons altogether and focus on giving us 2-3 more fully fleshed out areas instead. The whole unlimited randomly generated content thing never worked out from the start.
yeah nah, completely wrong
most people try to kill it and are immediately wrecked
The way I see it her desire to keep what happened at the fishing hamlet a secret is stronger than her disdain for blood attacks. She's determined to keep you from getting there at all costs.
>enough to bloodborne thread a man sick
Oh come on, you can do better than that
Most people are retarded. It is designed for you to run past the enemy to the area outside which has only 1 enemy (that is a threat) you can also run past easily. You also can't go anywhere else except to the lamp. At the lamp you are expected to wake up in the hunter's dream. That being said because it is a game you can choose to try and fight them with your fists and probably die but that's your own damn fault.
Arcane stat is perfectly fine
>support tools with low arc
>high damage tools with high investment, as well as weakness exploiting for PvE (fire for beasts, bolt for ayys, magic for watchers)
What more is it supposed to do?
>it's blocking the doorway
No it isn't you can easily run past.
this
>you can just run to the first lamp which is really close by.
And how is a first time player supposed to know that? How is he supposed to know that he's supposed to run past a wolf, open a door and then one of two gates (while the wolf is still attacking you during each animation), walk up the slope to the right instead of the stairs in front, pull a lever that another enemy is guarding, climb up a ladder and then touch a lamp? Is that what YOU did on your first blind playthrough? Then wow, color me impressed.
AWOOOO
>TFW one of the few that liked chalice dungeons
Honestly I just liked playing the game, the combat was fun enough for me to not care about the rooms looking kinda samey
Having fun with FRC's was the only reason I ever got several hundred hours on some of my characters
This nigger gets it
Oddly enough it is, Its fun when you dont have to worry about the boss, but its minions
Really? That isn't hard to figure out. After trying to attack the wolf thing with your fists you realize it is very ineffective and run the fuck away while also looking around. There aren't many threats past the wolf like I said it is just the one guy. You make it sound like you need to know where the lamp is but that's the whole point, you don't need to know because it is the only route you can actually take. All the other gates are locked.
You can tell this is something they've wanted to do even back as far as demon souls, but I don't think they've ever had the time or resources to pull it off
It doesn't even take long to get boss gems, unless you're a perfection hoe then you can get pretty much what you need, gem wise, from a Level 3 or 4 chalice run in one sitting.
>More things scale with bloodtinge
>Implying
You can convert almost every single weapon to an arc weapon and get atleast 600 elemental AR
The only ones you can't are the natural split damage ones like the burial blade, but those are few so almost everything is a good arcane weapon
plz no
we dont need more forced titles to appease tofaggots like you, twisting and shitting over the story of the original title (like ds).
make something new from scratch
>make 5 different games in one depending on your insight
You know they'll never pull that off.
Its a fucking game where a werewolf is blocking your path, your only path, and you think we're just supposed to run and atleast not try to engage it? Gee I guess that's why the game only progress when you die from it.
Should've been
>It's enough to make a Bloodborne thread sick
huh ?
honest to god i cant remember what it was like
Stop reusing the same enemies just with more HP
Better ng+
each cycle makes the world increasingly cosmic/dreary until the last cycle where a great one is staring right at you from the sky
>not "the sweet bloodborne thread, oh, it sings to me
2/10 apply yourself
I think that mob fucks people up and turns them away, I put off the game for 2 years cause I thought it was gonna be a constant gank fest with enemies. Just got through dying to a beast and now I'm getting fucked by a mid-tier mob? kinda shit is this?
>the game only progress when you die from it.
Except it doesn't. It will progress if you die because the lamps are the checkpoint system and you haven't reached one yet. However it will also progress if you don't die and it doesn't require you to kill anyone to get to the lamp either. So my point is that there is no ridiculous overpowered enemy in the game that you are expected to either die to or manage to beat it after hacking away at it. You can do those things if you want but you can also just ignore it and run, which seems instinctual to me.
Is this the best boss battle music of all time?
>a great one is staring right at you from the sky
Please no
Different enemies do show up at higher insights. For instance Mad Ones will spawn in Hemwich if your insight is high. Also you see the hidden great ones hanging around.
I run past it on literally every playthrough.
>ng+7
>everything is run through google deep dream
youtube.com
They show up if you have -any- insight. Invisible Amygdalas are cool
>They show up if you have -any- insight
The mad ones in the boss fight itself show up at any amount of insight
The mad ones in the area only show up if you have 15 insight
Found a better one
meant for
Not talking about the witch boss fight, they spawn and roam around in the normal areas at higher insight.
Allow us to re-allocate our stats without having to make a new character
Why isn't there an option for L3 jumping, Miyazaki? What the fuck

>The way the music gets more and more intense as it goes on
It's incredible how well the music composition in Bloodborne compliments the boss fights
M A L E D I C T U S
>that phase 2 music
Muh dick, every single time. Best boss music in the series.
Bloodborne is one of only two or three games i would give a 10/10, no hesitation
Fucking perfect.
Gascoigne's fight is easy as shit now, but god damn It's one of my favorites in all of Soulsborne. Wish I could fight him for the first time again
Not an amazing boss, but the music is still great. Almost saves the fight
I dont, Gas walled me hard my first time on him. I had to get super crafty on his ass. Funny enough I punked him so hard on new game. Even his beast form I was right in his face dancing around him.
The first time I fought Gascoigne he glitched out between a couple of gravestones and couldn't move for the entirety of the fight. Has this happened to anyone else?
He got snagged for me, but eventually he would attack enough himself out of being stuck.
