When will they finally make a complete edition with every single game on one disc?
I've literally only played it at movie theaters and at Dave n Busters.
I have it on dreamcast did u guys sleep on it or what ma niggas
SUFFER LIKE G DID?
Let's talk about Arcade games that have never gotten a console release but really deserve one
>thread about arcade game
>I-I have it on dreamcast guys!!
ok thats nice
I want one of those MAME or xbox multi arcade machines.

>tfw I went to an arcade with this a few years back
>but it was busted and kept resetting randomly
TO PROTECT THE LOIFCYCLE
I don't wanna die
G's bloodstains...
HOW COULD ANYONE DO THIS
THE LIFE CYCLE.
Don't cum! Don't cum!
I'd rather have the first anyway.
Build one user.
A USB gun isn't expensive and all of the HotD games can run on a literal toaster.
WE'RE MEETING G OVER THERE
The first was a quarter muncher.
That's not a bad thing, but i'd rather one token hotd2 than deal with the cheap shit in hotd.
WHY DID SEGA PULL WCCF FROM EUROPE? WHY? WAS IT REALLY A BAD MONEY MAKER?
All i need is Time Crisis cabinet and i will be set for life
Nah, I've 1cc'd the original just fine. Only real bullshit in that game is the fat guys.
Closest you'll get is the Wii version.
Would a light gun game work on Nintendo Switch? Joy Cons sort of act like Wii remotes.
ACTION
Every time crisis after 3 was a mistake
A set of these and I'd be fucking set.
Reasonably though, I'd love to get a table cabinet. I remember the one that used to be at a Pizza Hut by my house when I was a kid that had Super Mario Bros. on it. Fucking rad.
the 1st one doesn't have the god tier voiceacting
I liked 4 better than 3. I don't know if you'd count Razing Storm as a Time Crisis game, some people so, I like it but it's so easy I 1ccd it in like 10 days. I haven't played 5.
I think House of the Dead 2 may be one of the first games I ever played. A pizza place my family used to go to had the arcade machine, and I must have been 4 or 5 when I first dropped some quarters into it. How I was able to play this game no problem, but still get scared by The Matrix is a mystery to me now.
SUFFER
why was house of the dead 3 completely lacking in b-movie cheese?
I want either a Super Turbo cabinet or a MvC2 cabinet
shut up boy
Who HYDRO THUNDER here?
enjoy your failure of a console m8
>I-IT WAS AHEAD OF IT'S TIME
I'm not sure how precise it is, but apparently the Joycon can be used as a mouse pointer in World of Goo, so I presume you could also use it for shooters in a similar manner. twitter.com
hotd was pretty good
Timecrisis
Mom used to drop me off at the movie theatre during the summer.
In the Groove, Time Crisis 3, and Galaga raised me.
>tfw no virtual on arcade machine
>tfw no full initial d arcade machine
>tfw no f-zero ax arcade machine
>Local arcade has a set of 2 OG Virtual On machines
>in shoddy condition, but at least one of the 2 has its triggers intact and plays well
>play it every time I visit it
>go in one day
>both cabinets are gone
>the old Sega Rally machines take its place
>and some weeb 3D glasses racing game took Sega Rally's old place
>the Virtual On machines are nowhere to be seen
IT'S NOT FAIR
Your mom went to go get railed as soon as she dropped you off
I'd prefer the third with the shotguns desu
Every Time Crisis game had a console port
>LISA!
I had the Wii version of HOTD 2 and 3.
It was fucking great.
RELOAD
>tfw the cinema arcade went under
R-R-RUH-RELOAD !
CHK-CHK
>WAIT
BEEPBEEP BEEPBEEP
ACTION
CHING CHING CHING
GRUHNADE
>the laundry I go from time to time still has a King of Fighters 98 arcade
How the fuck is this still possible?
When will they port it to phones where we can tap to kill the zombies
>Tapping of the Dead is release
>the characters run around with their phones, tapping on the screen to kill zombies
>that weird feeling when the Wii might have been the best console for House of the Dead
It was though
would you have expected that of the Wii, though?
Just get the dreamcast version with lightguns. It's arguably better since it used light guns, while the arcade version used IR guns.
DON'T
FRIENDZZZZ
I have played 5 it has Euphoria physics which is fucking hilarious but the gameplay is kinda shit, you have to switch from cover to cover with the pedal and it makes things more confusing that it needs to be
Anyone ever play Zombie Raid? It was always my favorite lightgun game alongside HotD1. I wish they'd gotten home releases in the Wii era like HoTD2&3.
>It's arguably better since it used light guns, while the arcade version used IR guns.
The arcade IR guns are incredibly accurate, though. It's just in the home that they turned into wiimote trash.
>half a dozen light gun games were released for emulation in the past week
>they're all machine gun titles
Kill me now, please.
Here are the best cabs to own.
Top Tier:
Time Crisis 1-3 (still not properly emulated, recoil gun)
Virtua Cop 3 (no emulation, the best you can do is spend 200 bucks on a modded Xbox and play it with a wiimote)
Silent Scope (the home versions suck)
Mid tier:
HotD1 (emulation has minor issues, no real home console release)
Point Blank (not as good as TC, but it's a great cab even though you can emulate the whole series perfectly)
Any of the Sammy/Naomi titles past 97 (even if you don't like them, you can rig up the guns for emulation and have the best home setup)
Vampire Night (too rare and expensive to be top tier)
Low tier:
Virtua cop 1 and 2 (fantastic games, but their emulation is solid, and the home ports weren't terrible)
HotD3 (bad game, has a perfect windows port anyway)
If only VR took off, we could have seen some decent PC ports.
HOTD1 has a PC version
So does 2
so we all agree sega made the best arcade games right?
>HOTD1 has a PC version
>So does 2
They're both pretty bad. The emulated versions are a lot better, but they still have some minor issues with things like lighting and Z-fighting.
It's why they're only in mid-tier, they're fantastic games, but you can play them pretty well at home.
Anyone who says otherwise is nuts. Namco had some great titles, but sega was just the absolute king.
Does it have a handbrake?
>live in duplex
>family upstairs has a nearly mint condition Terminator 2 pinball machine
I want it so bad
>he needs a handbrake to drift
What the fuck are you doing?
I'm just running in the nineties.
When a woman says no, she means it!
That sloth enemy was pretty awesome
>the the house of dead
DON'T DEAD OPEN INSIDE
DELET!
They actually have REALLY nice motion detection. Most people don't even really know that. You could easily make a plastic light gun that the joycons attach to and use that for any given light gun game.
no, but honestly it did lightgun games pretty well
even the rail shooter dead space was pretty legit, thought they said "fuck it" to writing the story two player mode
>it did lightgun games pretty well
The Wii was the worst console for lightgun games in history. Getting a bunch of ports is only a good thing if the control scheme works.
>They actually have REALLY nice motion detection
I don't own one, but just from that video earlier I can tell you that's a complete crock of shit. You're severely underestimating the accuracy required for a gun, smoothed gyro input is never going to be even remotely close enough.
You want good motion detection? Check out the Vive controllers, 0.3mm accuracy. It's not perfect, but it'd hold up for a light gun.
No one said anything about light gun accuracy. Just that they had quality motion detection. That'll suffice for a light gun substitute.
Got a wii to play lightgun shooters and cenoblade. The The house of dead was the (the) first wii game I played. really enjoyable but Im not really into aquiring the best scores.
>Just that they had quality motion detection. That'll suffice for a light gun substitute.
No, it won't. I don't know why people get so confused about this, but waggling something to move a cursor around isn't anything like playing a light gun game. Maybe some people get confused with positional gun games, but even so.
oh fuck off
that game is fucking terrible
shitty graphics can hardly tell what im shooting and a quarter whore with enemies slapping you as soon as the camera turns corners
go replay it then fucking neck yourself
Me and my brother used to play this every time we went to the movies a few towns over. We both sucked but we had a good time. I tried emulating it but I'm too much of a dumbass to properly operate MAME.
