What are your honest thoughts on Final Fantasy X? I've been on both sides of the fence with this game, but in the end I think it's a good FF.

Its the best of the mainline FF games by a pretty large margin

Last good traditional FF

12 is okay if you want an offline MMO though & 15 is good if you are 15 years old & think big scripted events & QTE's are cool

My only beef with X is the retarded fucking clothes everybody wear.

There are still not enough good vanilla riku doujins

It's certainly one of the better modern FF titles Along with 12. although FF13 and 15 were complete shit shows.

Tidus is only one I have a major issue with. Those pants are retarded.

It's the only FF game i ever bothered to play. I liked it enough to buy the sequel. Big mistake.

Last top-tier FF.

Also has one of the saddest stories in a video game imo.

It's a really good game.

IMO, it's the best FF game. One of the best JRPGs of all time.

I only played FF13-2... It was really good. Noel's theme is best theme.

Last good FF, but it wasn't particularly good compared to its predecessors. The midgame was good, but the beginning and end were both awkward and stilted.
The plot was good, the summon mechanic was kind of dumb, but added depth to what was otherwise a needlessly flashy part of the series.
The characters needed to be a bit better balanced, the clothes were exceptionally retarded, and it had a leveling gimmick that worked well. All in all a decent title.

X is possibly my favorite game in the series. I could go on about why it's my favorite. The East Asian influenced setting gives it a unique type of setting, the ost was imo Sakaguchi's swan song and Hamazu layed down some excellent tracks. I like the story, it was emotional and had some good character development. The ost, I absolutely love the ost

It is one of the best games ever. I replayed it recently because I thought my love for the game was pure nostalgia, but nope, it is abso-fucking-lutely L U D O. pic related.

AH HA HA HA!
AH HA HA HA HA!
AH HA HA HA!

I think it's good, but I guess it's kinda hit or miss, because there are a lot of people who hate it for whatever reasons.
Nobody will be sure if you like it unless you try it. Give it a try and refund if you hate it.

Wasn't interested enough in the story to finish it (bailed at yevon)

Spawned the awful direct sequel trend

Ha ha ha ha

Blitzball sucked

Sphere grid was a dumb way to level characters and could have been done FFIX style instead or even FFVII

I can't even find good Yuna porn, wtf

I know what you mean, I was really worried I'd hate it but it turned out to be as good as I remembered.

you think you have it bad? I'm a quistis fag

Pretty much this. the story is great. the premise is great. but the peopleĀ“s clothing and the cities that look like abandoned malls are kind of a turn-off.
Other than that its pretty much a 10/10 FF game.

Video games dropping CGI cutscenes was a mistake

It's not 8, so it's trash tier.

>center pic
That's probably the best FF moment tbqh

"To Zanarkand" is one of the greatest songs ever composed.

The CTB Battle system is among the best in the series. The plot is strong and the characters are likable. Original OST is elder god tier. The sphere grid was a good system but the endgame bonus bosses took too much grinding as even AP shortcuts and exploitable tactics in battle requires tens of hours of prep and sphere gathering both relieved by some additional options in International but made more grueling by the addition of even more grind-to-win bonus bosses. Minigames ran the gauntlet from fun to tedious to insufferable. Seriously what was with PS2-era Square Enix and shoehorned minigames.

FFX-2 was flawed but still good if you could handle the premise. It has the best class system in the series and its open world and open story nature is an excellent relief from the hard linear storytelling of FFX. I still wish the ultimate Dressphere were overpowered, multiclass Braska, Jecht, and Auron outfits for YRP respectively instead of the boring but overpowered Mascot costumes.
