Well that's literally all Max can do in this whole fight until Dio eventually gets to use his world.

Nothing. If King Crimson goes first and skips to 5 mins into the future, max will just rewind 5 minutes back like nothing ever happened. The thing about Max's powers is that it's literally useless for straight out fights, unless it's versus a normal person with normal abilties.. It's a problem solving ability, not a combat one. Against people with super speed, enhanced durability, super strength, magic, or any strong ability she gets shit on. All she can do is rewind them backwards so she can try to get away or place something in their way to slow them down. She doesn't have the means to do damage to these kind of people.

The Joestars are extremely powerful compared to normal humans though. Dio could fuck around all he wants and make as many mistakes as he wants against max, because she cannot hurt him. She has to remain stationary when she rewinds time, so there's no way to move Dio into bad positions, which would do nothing but slow him down by a second anyway. None of her powers allows her to just drop Dio into the sunlight so she's fucked there too.

But KC doesn't just skip time he straight up deletes the time that's been skipped.

I think you turned your common sense off. It's not about whether or not her powers work during Dio's world, it's the fact that a person frozen in time cannot do anything... BECAUSE THEY ARE FROZEN. Max cannot rewind time because every function in her body would be put to a halt during it's effects.

Well he's only really weak against the sun because of it's heat. Fire can slow down his healing but not by a lot. He once went up against his rival in a mansion that was on fire and got covered in flames a couple of times during the fight, but still healed it back fairly quickly. Max would need something extremely hot to do any damage to him.. but he has weird ice powers, so there's that.

star platinum's time stop meshed with the world and let jotaro move in stopped time, then when the world ran out it gave jotaro dominion over that stop time but the world still gave dio passive awareness

max's power isn't a stand so we really have no idea how it would interact with the world. i think it's funny that the visual cue when she uses it is a ripple/spin spiral though

Conceivably, if Dio stops time himself, then Max won't be drained, and then she'll just use her powers to rewind and escape his time stop.

The crazy thing is, from his perspective, no time travel ever happened. Since he exists in a timeline where Max already used her rewind to be in the exact place, with the exact tools needed to defeated him. Hence, he only witnesses a swift and seamless defeat.
