I work overtime each week as a plumber, and at first when I started making good money, I got a bigger place, got a nice new car, ate nasty shit that was expensive every day, hooked up at least 3 times a week, then I started working more to get more money to upgrade my entertainment center, but ffs, I've had this 80 inch tv surround sound setup for a year and I've used it maybe 3 fucking times.

What the fuck is the point of working hard to get shit that you never have time to fucking USE? I've become so hollow and soulless over the past five fucking years, and only over the past six months since I started "wasting time" playing video games and writing a really shitty novel have I ever felt alive for YEARS. I had no friends, just vapid conversations with people I had no interest in knowing, and in just 6 fucking months of playing online games I have 3 people that I talk to regularly now, that's probably more conversations than I had in the past 5 damn years.

Man fuck these people trying to tell you what is and isn't acceptable, our time on this earth is short enough as it already is, do whatever the fuck makes you happy and whatever works for you, because most of these people you meet who say shit like that are just people who don't have shit in their lives and get assblasted when they see that someone else does, gaming is THE most powerful subculture in existence at this day and age
