maybe because not everyone here is a complete autist
>the guy has some character as the background so OBVIOUSLY the sequence to unlock it is a move that this character does!
Fucking kill yourself
back to skyrim
Serious question, why do fighting game inputs have to be so complicated? Controllers have enough buttons for Smash styled inputs.
skyrim is shit, doesn't change the fact that even if you play street fighter you'd have to be a gigantic autist to think that imputing some random move a character makes unlocks it.
Because it started with only like 4 buttons(and something to move your character) and then it was fine but it stays so because "MUH SKILL CELLING"
acts as a bufffer to balance the game
certain moves require you to press forward thus letting go of your guard, some take a second or two to input and some require charging etc
if you want reference for why inputs are important look no further than Super Street Fighter IV on 3DS where you could do any move with a press of the screen. it's absolutely fucked
Thank you for the laugh, OP. You're a little bit less of a faggot today and I appreciate that.
Well of course games with it are balanced around it but it's not like in Smash moves don't leave you vulnerable or take a while to execute. If a game is balanced around non-artificial difficulty inputs it's not an issue.
shoryukens aren't hard dude, it's like saying cod has 'artificial difficulty' because you have to press a button to reload
watch both of these

The inputs could be simpler though. The real difficulty is reading your opponent and knowing how to respond to each situation. Inputs aren't that important or at least wouldn't be if a game was designed around "normal" ones.
the inputs act as a barrier to prevent moves like 3 frame grabs and 3 frame reversals/anti airs from being overpowered. otherwise you would have to basically remove these moves or seriously nerf them to compensate
see: rising thunder
It adds another layer of complexity and opportunity for skill to the gameplay.
That's pretty cute
Kek, I give you this one phoneposter
this. walking forward sonic booms and flash kicks were retarded
>The inputs could be simpler though
See that's your problem, you don't even play fighting games and want it simplified for you. Everyone who plays them didn't have an issue with inputs when they were starting out, and if they did they learned it and it became second nature. Why should they change it for people like you who, in their eyes, can't even perform the simplest of motions even a child could perform? Rising Thunder even tried simplifying motions and you know what? People still had a hard time with it.
Basically this.
It's not just about player skill, but limiting what moves you can do in certain situations to balance it.
The difficulty should be both. A player should be rewarded for the execution practice they put in. If you are good at reads your execution should determine how much you are rewarded for each read. You shouldn't automatically get the maximum reward by it being so easy.
>See that's your problem, you don't even play fighting games
I do though?
I don't have an issue performing inputs myself unless they're notoriously difficult like pretzel ones. I'm just saying it's possible to make them simpler.
But it's possible to do
>not having a difficult-to-execute swipe pass with fingerprint recognition so you never have to enter it anyway
it's like you fuckers want your phone to be unlocked by a stranger
Are you retarded?
Just because something is possible doesn't mean it's in the best interest of the game in question and the design and flow it is aiming to achieve.
>it's possible
Yeah, so are a lot of things, but why do it? You don't have any reasoning besides "cause it's hard :("
Even in a game like Rising Thunder with single button specials some combos are hard and you drop them occasionally. so lets take combos out the game too right?
Lol you just have sloppy inputs, watch in training how much extra inputs you have and
>Not just using a pin
Well are you?
Tell me who the fuck sees ken as a background image and thinks to himself "Oh! I know! This one skill that he does must be the combination to unlock the phone! Its so obvious!"
OP is not only a faggot, but also a retard.
the joke OP was making is that Sup Forums always complains shoryuken inputs are too hard so they would have trouble unlocking the phone. you colossal crybaby
>being this retarded
...and clean that shit up
hit enter too quickly
The inputs aren't even hard. It took me like a half hour to be able to consistently do the special inputs like 9/10 times.
Has Sup Forums really gotten this casual? Are the Reddit memes true?
filthy casual
Fuck, that's pretty damn clever.
Damn that's ironic.
>giving clues to unlocking your phone
what a moron
