If you are using anything lower than 3200 dpi you are a casual.

>not using 1dpi and 3200 sens

Mouse thread? My deathadder broke on me and I ordered a Logitech g402 to replace it. Did i do good or should I have got the corsair harpoon rgb for cheaper but with 2000 higher dpi and some more modern software features as it's 2 years newer than the g402.

>relying on spaghetti code instead of laser accuracy

I use 1600

Logitech gpro

9inches or 22cm/360

if you are using anything higher than 800dpi you are a casual

What are you? A turbocasual baby that needs to rely on easy mode laser with perfect precision?
I bet you don't pour milk before your cereal too

If you play "games"* you're a retard, lol. A simple mouse is more than enough
*competitive' mouse-button mashers

I use 800dpi 3.0sens and I'm grandmaster on offense heroes and zarya

I have a 5400dpi mouse set to 800 dpi.

Fite me.

using my g900 at 1600dpi
dpi has become a buzzword, should rather look at the sensor.

>not playing on 400dpi, and moving your arm more

I'd rather not move the mouse an inch, and have my character spin around.

I've used 800 DPI for over a decade, why would I switch?

1600 is the golden standart
prove me wrong

This.

You might as well use a controller at that point. Good luck trying to be accurate on any FPS.

2000 for rts.

600 for sniping in fps

4000 for cheating with vehicle turret rotation speed in battlefield games

if you are using anything higher than the native dpi you are a retard victim of jewish marketers

3200 for browsing.
1600 for gaming.

Anything else is wrong.

So??
I don't play shit games like CSGO anyways.
2600 is enough.

How? Don't you just move more?

G900 800dpi master race here.

1600 for browsing.

800 for gaming.

So what does /v think of the g203? Good for 35 buckaroonies or should I waster the extra 15 on the uglier 40-something?

You have more control.

true alphas can pwn n00b5 with any mouse, regardless of dpi

it's called adaptability, bitches.

see pic? i can destroy your assholes with this no problem

G502 master race. Just get one of those on sale.
Great job, retard.

4k, anything else is for cucks

>high dpi shitters still exist
When will this meme end? Low DPI is where it's at.

i use 800dpi 1.5 sens am i cool

I have a 1000 dpi mouse and have the sensivity in windows maxed but it's still a bit slow.
Should I buy a 3200 dpi mouse?

can't believe some people actually believe they can be more accurate with higher dpi

I mean just think about it for a second. 400DPI or 160ishDPCM.
That's 16 count per millimeters. That's about as accurate as the width of your average human hair. 800dpi is twice that and so on. No one is that accurate. 400 is enough.
If you're a high sens faggot just increase it in your shitty game.

>about to talk shit about using 800 dpi for years
>check mouse settings
>it's on 1200
>can't remember the last time I even looked at my mouse settings

if i find the g403 a little too big will i liek ec2a
hands are 19cm

400 can be annoying in games where you're turning around a fair amount. I think 800 is a good compromise. Especially since in-game sens is usually coded for morons who have a static 1600

600 DPI in all games.
1.2 sensitivity in source engine, which is approximately 57.7 cm/360
I'm not trying to practice brain surgery here, why would anyone play at a high sensitivity?

Completely pointless. The human hand cannot move faster than 1000 dpi.

>I can't aim so I'll namecall the players that can
LOVING
EVERY
LAUGH

>G502
Nah, almost twice the price where i'm buying it and ugly as all sin.

I used to hit 45% lg on ql with low sens+dpi. Burden of proof is on you kiddo.
Have fun being a one trick pony quickscopper and wondering why the fuck you missed that shot you should have gotten 100%

>I cant read and shitpost posts that arnt relevant
must suck to be disabled

>ugly as all sin.
Fuck aesthetics, your goddamn hand is covering it. Get the most comfy mouse you can for the money, your wrists will thank you.

>he thinks he can aim
>aims with his wrist
apex lel

>its a bigger number so its better XD

diminishing returns autists

Is there a better mouse on the market right now than the Zowie EC1-A?

I'm planning on buying G403 for claw grip. Should I do it? Currently using G500, but it's dying rapidly.

>doesn't aim with his wrist
I bet you've never held a gun in a real life kiddo

>but it's dying rapidly.
Return it and get a new one. Logitech support is pretty good.

Some games are too fast even at 1 sensitivity at 1600 DPI. 800 DPI is fine.

It's 7 years old. I don't think they will replace it just because I have one. I already opened it several times to clean the wheel.

It's almost like it's a mouse and not a gun.

Are you stupid? There's a reason that people use low sens at the highest levels.

>Fuck aesthetics
Already am, which is why I'm looking at the 203. But there's limits.

>been a pcfag all my life
>dont know what these numbers mean
>just set my mouse sensitivity slightly above middle and play just fine

You should always put in-game sensitivity to the lowest possible first and then increase your DPI until you reach a comfortable sensitivity. You want to rely on your mouse, not on interpolation algorithms.

If you don't play FPS the sensor it's mostly irrelevant

>fell for the fast sensitivity meme
You are literally gimping yourself. When you get used to arm aiming, you can turn around quick enough, and you have way more area to work with for precise aiming, provided you have the surface area available.

>move mouse
>camera actually turns with that movement, you can get your kill

>move mouse
>camera moves a millimetre
>have to move mouse 5 more times
>finally get to face target
>dead

There is only one correct choice.

ya but u cant move the mouse at 0 sensitivity IDIOT!!!!!

>12,000 DPI mouse

It's like having 48 gigs of ram

Doesn't anyone have a mouse that lets you change dpi on the fly?

If you have the surface area, it still only takes a fraction of a second to move your whole arm. Turning around quickly isn't something that needs to be done with the flick of a wrist. In the majority of FPS games, you're predicting where the enemy is in front of you anyway, and you want that precision right in front of you. Not only can you still turn around quick with the arm, but it's not that important anyway because if they were directly behind you, they'd be killing your ass.
For faster paced FPS games like Quake where you're jumping around and turning around a lot, I get it, but you can still get used to that with arm movements.
Seriously, ask yourself if you really can't turn around quick as fuck with your arm still.

>moving your arm instead of your wrist
>using more ATP
fucking armcucks

What's a good mouse I should get?

48 gigs of RAM are actually always useful, even if you don't use them all at once. You can always create a RAMdisk with the rest. 12000dpi is pure marketing though. Yeah, there's a slight difference in jitter and tracking, but it's more about preference at this point, like 500hz or 1000hz polling rates. Some prefer 500. Some 1000. Uneducated won't notice the difference and those who care would feel "off" with a new polling rate.

>not deliberately using 400 dpi to induce minor angle snapping, because this improves aim

fucking scrub lords

>DPI higher than 800
palmgrip niggers detected.
Get out.

gpro/403/502
deathadder for big hands, though quality can be wonky
Zowie FK-2 or EC series of your choice
Some CoolerMaster mices are getting better, but their shape is not for everyone

You'd struggle to find even a handful of professional CSGO players who use anything above 1000

It only improves your aim if you're a scrub or a girl gamer.

You do realize that literally all pro FPS players use 400dpi

How much did you have to stretch your ass with a dildo so that you can pull such a massive bullshit out of it?

He doesn't have to, because it's a fact

I got that mouse, it fucking sucks. I went back to my old one and only use that one for working on old computers that need a mouse.
Don't fall for the Zowie meme like I did.

I had em all folks
>best mouse for palm/claw
ec2-a/ec1-a/g403/fk1/fk1+
>best for fingertip
fk2/gpro/g203

yeah zowie side buttons suck on ec series, yes zowie sensor is inferor to logitech (but I still like the feeling more) and yes it's overprized memeware. but comfort is all that matters in the end, so I suggest you order where u can send em back again.

g403 and EC have a gay ass hump I couldn't get used to, fk1 forces you to claw and I couldn't order a ZA12 from my store (which should be better for palm)

gpro is small as fuck and the weight is not centered (more in the back). I was insane when I first got it but now I suck with it. Back to the fk2 and it's the best overall for me.

Also, MarC windows mouse fix is more important than whatever mouse you got

Why does it suck? I was investigating and they seemed chill. Good size, good ergos, shittier sensor than the competition but it wasn't a deal breaker.

>deathadder for big hands
Wut? I have small hands and I love my Deathadder. Been using them for over a decade.
>though quality can be wonky
This is true. On my third right now, but it's been five years since I brought it and aside from some wear its still good. I'm actually afraid when this one goes because my current one is a 2013 with the old generation sensor. I've owned mice with the TwinEye sensor before and they were all garbage.

800 dpi here, but doesnt really matter when you take into consideration in game multipliers.

That's your preference, but generally Deathadders are considered mices for larger hands

2500 for desktop one swipe for 180 degree for FPS

I also like to play with a controller in my left hand if possible for better movement

Yeah in CS GO, where every fight is in small corridors and you can predict where enemies will be most of the time. You dont need to turn fast in that game, just preshoot common choke points and you'll get kills. Now try having 400 dpi in games like OW and TF2.

What if I win anyway?

I have honestly never heard that before. Learn something new every day.

it kind of does, as lower DPIs will introduce angle snapping, which is arguably a good thing depending on the game

should've gotten a g403 tbqhwyf

G502 is good, but the G403 is arguably better. It has the exact same sensors and it's literally just a G502 "light", with less buttons but MUCH lighter.

The g502 is a great all-round mouse but it's not very good for FPS games since you want to have a light mouse for good aiming.

It's gr8 for MMOs and RTS tho.

does it have inbuilt mouse acceleration?

you are supposed to use both your arm and your wrist for aiming

you use your arm movement to aim fast and roughly on the target, then fine tune your aim with wrist movements

pic related

fuck no

>the mouse I use is the best one on the planet
>these threads every time.

Will there ever be some depth to them?

>inb4 mercy main

that's actually a really nice mouse. i'll get that.

>Uses a game that was literally designed to require little to no fps skill as an example that he can aim well

WHAT ARE YOU DOING user

Because I like to keep my elbow stationary and I play high action RTS games

With top 200? Not likely, unless all he does is play with group of top 100 players

Okay.

Umm sweetie no. I'm on multiple pro FPS teams and this is my dpi. Windows 8/11

>FPS babby can't do some wrist exercises and play OSU to be able to use higher DPI

I have both and this is correct

I use microsoft basic optical mouse and I'm good at FPS.
It's a meme, my brother have logitech g402 and It's uncomfortable for me.

no user, that's the best mouse that was ever made. nothing will ever beat it

>playing OSU with a mouse
LMAO
