Is it possible to make a gaming PC that can consistently do 1080p 60fps on current games and is the same price as the Xbox One X ($499?) I kinda wanted X for 4K but hearing how 4K with a weak 30fps is probably going to be the norm on X has left a bad taste and would rather go PC. What parts would I need? I Already have keyboard, mouse, and will just use my tv as a monitor.

quite a bit of games will be 4k native with 60 fps op

You mean on X? So far I've only heard Forza and that's it.

Cheap build I've been putting together for a friend
Assuming you're going to pirate Windows or already have a copy, this will be under $500 and can definitely do 1080p/60 (mind you, not on ultra for the most part)

Yeah I thought about checking pcpartpicker just now. Thanks, I'll take a look at it.

project cars, super lucky's tale, gears 4, witcher 4, sea of thieves, skyrim, horizon 3,

>witcher 4
What?

Considering the price isn't $499, but $490+expected amount of games per sold console.

PC price is the price for the hardware.
Consoles are sold cheaper because they get the money back from the games that have 20-30% of it's base price going directly to Sony/Nintendo/MS.
That's why they can sell if for so low.
So if you mean you want a $499 console, you are really saying you want a console without games.

The thing with consoles is that you can't just say 1080p or 4k and be done with it, console games usually run at low-mid settings too

But 499 is a weird price anyway. It's too much for a console imo, but enough that you might as well add 100 and buy a good PC that can do more than just play games

no

No answers saying yes so buy it.

>t.console fag
yes you can

May just do it. I was conflicted on X or Pro and if I'm going 4K anyways, might as well go for the more powerful option. I already have a ps4 for the Sony exclusives.

250 - get xbox one s
500 - get xbox one x
1000 - get PC

there OP

Easily possible
But the One X is pretty good value
Can't get a solid 4k PC for 500$

Can't you save some more money by getting a cheaper but larger MoBo/

I don't think normies see building a gaming PC as an option.

>No answers
This level of delusion isn't healthy.

>"""""4K"""""" at the same frame rate as the 16mm video projectors from the 1930s
$500 seems fucking expensive now for that xXx_Shitbox1X_xXx

Well then they can have their 500$ paperweight if they refuse to consider the better alternative
Who the hell would buy a xboner anyway? unless you really want to play halo 5 and gears 4 its the shittiest console out right now

>4k 30FPS
>checkerboard rendering

With that as the PC's competition I'd say PC doesn't have much to worry about.

Titanfall 2 runs in 6K 60fps (yes, 6K) on XB1X.

confirmed by Respawn dev on neofag.

lol
