I will be kind of boring when you start, but if you can make it to Gran Soren thats where the game really picks up

Try doing all the sidequests you can before progressing through the story. Don't leave for Gran Soren right away when you're given the chance, go back to the first village and do the quest to find Quina first.

Refund it. It's complete shit in literally every way. The combat being good is just a meme.

Don't listen to this user. Every class is viable except for mage (because sorcerer is a straight upgrade). Although I would recommend a class with a ranged option for a first playthrough.

It's gonna be shit for like, the first two to four hours, but after that, it gets better. It's a very flawed game, but it's still fun in the end. Also, make sure you do all the side quests. There's also character bios the the game's website which holds a lot of story not seen in the game. I suggest reading it as you meet the characters.

It's Artificial Difficulty: The Game. There's no in-game indication of where roads go, what enemies are weak to, whether enemies travel in groups, or which items are masterworks.

This is what the pawns are for. You recruit others that hopefully have knowledge of where you need to go.

This desu. Dragon's Dogma could be a great game if it would only give the player more feedback.

The game is kind of shit and unbalanced. Stats matter much more than skill as you'll find out when you decide to check out THAT path on the left that goes up the hill not long after the start of the game.
That said, I liked it.

They're masterworks all, you can't go wrong

Dont take your time for the begining. Rush to Gran Soren then do what ever the fuck you want. You will either love it or hate it. its a flawed gem and theres nothing quite like it

How is the pawn system on PC? Do you have a higher chance of getting high level pawns since the games been on PC for a while?

U always get high level pawns
