Let's have an honest discussion about G2A
G2A
lets not
bought over 15 multiplayer only games from them and a few denuvo shits i couldnt pirate at the time.
all of them still work and the only fucking time i got a bad code they fixed it within an hour because i used their sheckel generating 2$ shield thing.
basically i could give two fucks if the codes are stolen, ive even used it for xbawks live subscriptions
Because of them, buying to your steam inventory was removed.
This is literally why we can't have nice things.
Roll em
Bought a £35 PS Card yesterday. Didn't have inconvenience of any kind. People who scream about fraud don't know how to live honestly.
I. AM. GOD.
Ok
What Did He Mean By This?
Also I've only used G2A twice but had no problems whatsoever. I imagine most people's "I got ripped off" stories come from using some random Joe Jerkoff seller. Like I said I've only done it twice, for Hearts of Iron IV and Xenonauts but both times I found sellers with tons of positive feedback (98-99% from thousands of buyers) and got my shit within 5 minutes. Worked fine both times. Only retarded normies or greedy virgins who decide to buy from some guy with no sales will get fleeced.
Fuck it, fine
LORD BE WITH ME

I think G2A is a good concept, but they clearly don't give a fuck about preventing fraud. I don't use it too much, mainly for removed games I that I can only get via boxed copies or w/e. No issues yet, but I'm not afraid to chargeback with my CC is something goes wrong.
Anyone find the "Reselling keys is wrong" shills to be hilarious? There are people out there who literally will tell you that reselling something you legally purchased is wrong.
You boys do realize that the problem with G2A is that its GREY market right?
The issue isn't that any of its illegal. The problem is that its a legal front for illegal activity, basically.
Heres how it hurts the industry:
>Dickback hack/scammer commits credit card fraud and identity fraud
>Buys games to sell on the grey market with stolen and often non-existent money
>Bank finds out, and because G2A is a limited liability company and service, the banks have to charge game company's that scammer fuck bought a game from money.
>Technically, they paid their money for a game. Legally, they can ask for it back. It's not like the bank doesn't know that the game company WASN'T involved in laundering or something.
>So game developers have to pay outa their pockets to banks for money that then disappears because it never really existed.
>Hacker and G2A keep the profits from game sold. Supplied for free and payed for by the developer themselves.
Pretty shitty, huh?
ok
Oi?
i
rollinnnnn
Rolling.
aa yiss
thighs for days and days
Got SFIV for a buck like a month ago. Would recommend.
I'm shaking my nogging trying to figure out why you'd choose to pay literal scammers over the actual devs, since I assume that, as you didn't simply pirate the game you actually want to support the devs. I guess there's multiplayer games but generally speaking people don't buy them as often as they'd buy solo games. Anyway if you bought it (and actually suscribed to the fucking fraud shield) you're dumb.
You boys do realize that the problem with ebay is that its GREY market right?

Until publishers on steam start charging for what their games are actually worth I'll keep buying from g2a and you fags can suck my fat clit
Who gives a shit.
My favorite posts on Sup Forums are the condescending little shits who think they're hitting people with raw knowledge while spouting well known shit
You're retarded
b8'd
If you don't buy all your games from G2A or similar sites, you're a cuck who abandons his consumer right to buy things cheaper than the publishers sell you.
Remember, reselling the shit you buy is a basic consumer right that NOBODY has the right to criticize or take away from you. If someone is criticizing G2A or similar sites for facilitating trade between people, they are LITERALLY engaging in anti-consumer shilling and need to be fucking shot.
If you buy from g2a instead of pirating you're an unforgivable cuck. There's no getting around it.
>wanting to play multiplayer makes you a cuck
G2A is not the problem, because its operation perfectly legal. Scumbags beings scumbags are the problem, but you can't do anything about them, since even ebay can't root them out.
Another problem is publishers being Jews and refusing to cooperate with G2A, which, in turn, results in G2A being unable to identify keys being sold on their site that were bought via stolen CC info, since G2A has no information whatsoever about how the key was bought, as it wasn't bought from them, but from the publisher.
>well known
>we still have these retarded threads
no
I bet you jerk off to Alex Jones.
A fitting response for someone refusing to be part of the market and instead sucking corporate dick
>Another problem is publishers being Jews and refusing to cooperate with G2A
this is demonstrably false, as a simple google search will provide. Why
>If I don't give money to literal subhumans I'm somehow harming the industry
You're the type of idiots that buy from ibuypower.
Except that buying from G2A results in supporting the publisher. All those keys people buy on G2A did not materialize from thin air, someone had to buy them from the devs/publishers with the intention to sell them. People willing to buy those keys on G2A creates demand, which, in turn, drives the supply and so more and more people buy those extra keys from with the intent to sell them. It's a self supporting system that also supports the devs, just not at the prices THEY want.
here here good sir
Only Microsoft asked and agreed to cooperate with G2A, everyone else is literally in REEEEEEEEE mode over the issue.
Except that's entirely false, you fucking idiot.
>Sup Forums is literally too dumb to pirate so they have to have mental gymnastics to defend paying money to chinks
This. As long as you take an extra 10 seconds checking the seller's reputation, you'll be fine.
I'm going to assume you aren't actually as retarded as your posts so far indicate and are just aroused by me replying to your comments, and so will make this my last response
Just because you aren't directly putting the money in the developers pockets doesn't mean you aren't paying them, you are still creating the demand that makes the Russian you're buying from buy keys from the developer. And as for the scumbag stuff, it's up to you who you're buying from.
When did I say that? Quote me
>Except that's entirely false
Nope, it's true, you just have brain problems.
I use it, never had any problems. Wouldn't be upset if it vanished forever though.
Their prices have been shit for quite a while now, thanks to all your moralfaggot bitching pressuring them into making themselves more legitimate.
G2A doesn't set any of the prices, the people who trade there do. Also, G2A is NOT th ebest place to buy the games on launch, but it is the absolute best place to buy games eventually, as sellers compete with each other and sometimes get desperate and lower prices to ridiculous levels just to get rid of their games.
It's like piracy but instead of supporting yourself you're supporting credit card thieves and other undesirables
>G2A
>honest discussion
More like let's see the same old shitflinging between G2A shills and moralfags until the thread hits bump limit.
Yeah, because all those positive reviews aren't generated by farms in Asia or whatever...
>mods deleting the post but not the thread
Roll
I prefer kinguin, but I've never had a problem with either, if devs want to complain maybe they should fix their prices first
Except you do know a majority of the people who """"""buy"""""" these keys and resell them do it via stolen credit cards and other shady shit like that.
>mods deleting thread derailer but not the videogame marketplace discussion is bad
Fuck off Sup Forums
wew
>implying any discussion about gaming will be had
It's great way to buy the games from those monthly Humble Bundles. Instead of paying $12 for the whole lot, you can just pick and choose what you want.
Picked up Gonner and Pirate Pop! for under $1. The bigger games like Black Mesa, The Turing Test, Layers of Fear, etc. go for $4-$5.
Definitely wouldn't buy anything over $10 without G2A shield though.
Same rules as buying used off amazon desu.
Indie devs literally beg you to pirate over buying from g2a.
Really makes you think.
If you can get it cheapest on G2A, go for it. Sometimes though (such as with the summer sale right now) games are cheaper elsewhere such as at Greenmangaming or on steam itself. Greenmangaming is a pretty good site to check too, and is as legit as it gets.
>It's not like the bank doesn't know that the game company WASN'T involved in laundering or something.
Triple negative?
What did he mean by this?
Still vidya related, faggot
Reminder that Valve are going to kill G2a soon.
I don't use them. There are other legitimate CD key sites where each code is actually verified by the website before they sell anything and you don't have to deal with the grey area sketchiness of G2A and it cost the same for the titles I have looked at.
How?
G2A is protected by China, so good luck with that.
They plan to get rid of keys altogether and have everything internal to steam.
Who is >they ?
Steam has nothing to do with keys. The publisher are the ones generating the keys and all retail games have also keys. Stop making shit up.
I just recently bought a CD Key not from G2A but a similar site. It was a picture of a CD key from the box of the game. Clearly they just bought out overstock from some store, took pictures and threw the rest in the dumpster. In the end saving everyone money.
Valve.
call me when i can pirate multiplayer games
...
Thinking of buying WoW through them, how does it work?
If you're going to buy a game, do it through g2a.
Don't care.
For every game I go buy I go to allkeyshop, check price, and if it's significantly lower I'll buy it through there, if not whatever platform it's on.
This. As long as they sponsor Kripp i will support G2A.
