MercurySteam was working on a game called Lords of shadow, Kojima saw a trailer of the game and he said "why is it not Castlevania ?" and the title became a Castlevania game. So it's entirely Kojima's fault if you don't like it.

I like Lords of shadow 1 a lot, so I can't really hate MS for MOF and LOS2, because the first one is probably my favourite game of all time with Metroid Prime 1.

This... As much as I love the Metroid series, the first one is the one I like the least. I'm not even able to finish it because it bores me. I finished all the others thought (even Federation shit)..

I don't really get the Metroid 2 hate. I beat it a few years ago and I had a good time... Don't expect Super Metroid's level of fun, but it was a good game if you keep in mind that it's a GB title.
