Witcher 3

Did you honor your deal Sup Forums?

I dropped the shitty game before having the chance

A deals a deal Witcher!

what game

Thank you for contributing to the thread

O'Dimm is a bro. Only moralfags didn't honor the deal.

It's in the subject line
That's how I felt. He never cheated me. Olgierd knew what the end game would be.

I've only read the first few stories in last wish. Are the games set during or after the books?

After. It's basically fanfiction. Good fanfiction, though.

I am altering the deal, O'Dimm. Pray, I do not alter any further.

It seems like if you did any more favors for odimm then eventually there would be DLC named "the adventures of Geralt and odimm".

The more they were around each other the more they became friends.

I wish he had a cameo in blood and wine if you didn't kill him

This, plus I got a sweet death horse out of it

>Letting evil roam free
>Not banishing the incarnation of evil to spare the world for a few centuries

Do you even witcher, bro?

Geralt would never want to be friends with him, though. He's a huge white knight.

They had a mutually beneficial deal and that's about as far as their relationship goes, aside from the respect with which O'Dimm now pays towards Witchers.

He does. Kind of. He's behind the cursing of the spoon monstrosity you find. His motif plays and her journal mention a mirror merchant.

He did have a cameo though, he was the one that pretended to be a bum and cursed the spoon lady into a wight.

>he does it for free

oh shit. had no idea. admittedly I did kill him on my first run, just hadn't heard of any cameos. let him live this time, so that's cool.
you really think Geralt would want to take on something like O'Dimm though? Seems like his book version would just honor the deal and try not to bring the devil down on him and his family.

Is O'Dimm really and truly evil, though? I always felt like he was more like a force of nature - acting on sort've weird traditional principles which seem to be bound (self-imposed?) rules. The end result of his wishes seem to end in tragedy, but it always appeared to me that he was merely a reflection of those evils which were always inherit in the people whom he gave favor to. His name is Master Mirror, after all.

There's an undeniable sadism that he has, though.

So I just got to Novigrad and I met Triss. Does anybody know about how much more of the main story I have left?

He is evil, he feeds off the suffering of others with the after affects of "the devil's in the details" with his contracts. Also if a peak into his hellish world wasn't a sign of evil, I don't know what your view of evil is.

>Also if a peak into his hellish world wasn't a sign of evil
That dog and cat that came from there were pretty nice.

Tried both options, then settled with honoring the deal and letting O'dimm have Olgierd. Bastard deserved it.

A lot

Geralt is an extreme Moral fag in the Books he wouldn't think twice about banishing him if he thought people would die because of him.

You're probably about 40% through it. And that's probably if you skip the side quests.

15-20% if you count both expansions.

Then why did he kill the man who just ate his soup?

They were summoned and bound to be like that though, who knows what those two demon's really are if they didn't have to be nice to Geralt in order to be free.

Fair enough.

Alright thanks. It seems like I'll be playing this for a while then if 20 hours is 15-20% of the game.

...

Olgierd was undeserving of pittance. He got exactly what he deserved, and my Geralt never went hungry again.

It's something like 100 hours or so. So fucking long, it's why I still havent replayed it even though I want to.

I would have, but then I found out that I would be missing out on content if I did so I did not.

I suggest taking a little break half way through or you might get burned out.

Quite a bit. By the way, if you're intending to romance Yen, let Triss leave when the time comes.

The real question is whether you saved Roche or not

Of course I did, that fat fuck was an asshole and only cared for himself, he never gave a shit about the mages and non-human bullshit he was dripping down his chins. Also Geralt has few close friends as is, letting one die would be fucked up.

Considering that was probably the most retarded scene in the entire game, yeah, I did. Seriously. You can tell they gave a few scenes to some of their B-team writers near the end.

It's also unfortunate that Roche had a character reset in W3 or something. I guess you could chalk it up to development due to all the war or something, but he was definitely a lot more humorous and charismatic in W2.

But nilfgard wins

a lot more. look for sidequests in northern novigrad, shit's fun and often overlooked

>witcherfags will defend this writing

>O'Dimm is a bro. Only moralfags didn't honor the deal.
Gaunter is a dick. A charismatic one but still an eldritch dick. He turned Olgierd's life upside down and even if he was another dick before his wife wasn't, killed the blind scholar by """"""fate"""""""" and drove a FUCKING SPOON IN SOME DRUNKARDS EYE just because he interrupted him.

NOPE.

I wanted more Geralt+Lambert+Eskel+Vesemir witchering together, getting drunk, fucking bitches and bantering all fucking day.

Maybe thrown in Ciri and the sorceresses there too because it's just fun shit.

What armor is that?

Roche was hardly even a character, i get the focus was off him but would've been nice to have some more.

sorceresses can go to hell

he curse her 100 years ago. not in the W3 current timeline

i want to pound henrietta
syanna is fucking hot as well
other girls are you even trying

elegant elven robe

unsure if its mod-dependent

>implying roche didn't coach the hoe'ch

I tried to think of what a Witcher would do in that situation. I can let one of the following live:

>A douche who kills people and was monstrously cruel to his wife
>A monstrous entity of unfathomable power who clearly has malevolent intent

So which of the two monsters would a Witcher be more concerned with slaying?

goty edition was 24 bucks i couldn't pass it up

He was too embarrassed to say boobs.

A Witcher wouldn't choose. Which is what happens when you let Olgierd die
