KH1: Acted primarily as a motivation factor for Sora and Riku. Strictly speaking, she was never necessary for Sora from a narrative standpoint, since Riku alone would have sufficed, both being his friends. Howevet, Riku needed something to fuel his rivalry with Sora. Basically, she was a plot device.
CoM: She was basically the foundation for Namine's existence. Fundamentally, she was a background element in this game, someone who fueled q portion of the conflict, but purely indirectly. Namine essentially acts as her proxy, but as she's ultimately her own character, she is incapable of acting as a representative for Kairi. Once again, Kairi is little more than a plot device.
KH2: Here, she mostly functions as a reminder that Sora has a place to go back to. Sora's primary goal is to find Riku and go back to the islands with him. Kairi serves as the goal tape, the proof that he's accomplished what he's set out to do.

Basically, she needs to stop being a motivation and start being an actual character who says and does things to directly, as opposed to indirectly, affect the plot.

Im currently in Atlantica in KH2, does it get any better? 15 hours in and i found it boring, nothing plot related happens. Prologue with Roxas and Namine was good tho.

She was never all that relevant, and I doubt they could make her relevant in KH3 without making the plot more convoluted than it already is. I guess you could give her a spin-off but it would probably be the lowest selling entry in the series.

KH2's Disney worlds aren't especially relevant to the main plot unfortunately, there's bits and pieces but generally they're just self-contained retellings of the original material.

Don't wail on them forever or else they'll auto block your attacks. Dodge when they start going nuts and trying to run you over. Use Fire from afar if you need to.

They start attack as soon as i get close to them, so in the best case we trade damage, why did they remove fucking dodge roll and put it into drive? So stupid.
