Hardware sales barely makes any money for the company. It's the games that makes money.

160

100+ million if they solve the NAND issue. 60 Million if they don't.

Greater than 30M, less than 70M

enough for it to be considered a success.

No one buys the software if the hardware isn't sold dumbass

You literally just made this thread
Fuck off faggot

It only got 10 replies

30-50 million, N64 tier

40-50m
It will have a good 2 years and then slump

And that somehow makes it okay to spam it again?
Fucking kill yourself

107 million? How many people do you think there are?

10 million. 12 MAX. Maybe 13.

Why are Switchfags allowed to shitpost about imaginary sales?

I've shown it to a couple of friends and they all loved playing Mario Kart and the concept of the console but once they ask you about the price you can tell by the reaction (wow expensive...) that none of them (normies) are going to buy the console.

I think it will sell 50-60 million regardless now that it has a unique feature and Xbone is dead.

45m

I think he was making an off the cuff detatched statement just stating it as a fact.

Sony and microsoft prioritizing power meant they sold their consoles at a loss
Nintendo only go there when the Wii U happened, in that it would only profit if a game was sold with it.

Its going to sell really well when the price drop/bundles start rolling out
It wont do Wii or DS numbers, but it will be above all the others though

5 million MAX

I hope not a lot. I don't want 720p, 32GB to continue

who is shitposting? This is a prediciton thread, clam your autism please

Its shitposting because its just a bunch of anons shouting their baseless claims with nothing to back it up
Its worthless discussion

1.Advertising
2.Steady flow of games
3. Home console you can take with you concept is easy to understand and something people want
4.Botw best 3d Zelda
5. New Mario will be best 3d Mario

100 million or more in its five year life

20 million absolute max.

It has already begun to slump and with no 3rd party support and barely any 1st party support, It's going to die out just like the Wii U.

If they keep it alive as long as the 3ds and have a few hardware revisions it could easily pass 100 mil

/thread

Lemme guess. You think mobiles running mobiles games at1080p is better than switch running actual games at 720p?

>Already begun to slump

They literally can't keep up with the demand. They can't make systems fast enough. It probably won't sell crazy numbers total but your being delusional as fuck if you think its slumping right now

They were also taking a pretty big loss on 3DS sales when they dropped the price for the first time.

50-60 ish. Not everything has to be a smash success or a horrible loss.

60-85 million, likely 70 million.

calm down loser

30 milllion. They won't sell more cause it will take them 6 or 7 years to actually produce 30 million Switch :^)

Fuck off spammer.

80 million lifetime
25-30 of that will be just Japan.

>Nintendo can't keep up
>splatoon and mario aren't out

I wonder how many japs are working 80 hour work weeks all year this year ?

It's the chinks that'll be working overtime to make that nand, not the Japs.

Yeah and it paid off because they knew how bad it'd be if no one bough the thing
The ambassador apology pack of gba and nes games before Virtual console launched was actually pretty great. Not the 100 dollar difference great, but I love wario ware and Yoshis island though. I played thse in bed more than any game that came out around the time.

>Nintendogs, SF4 and "pilot wings" launch

That was an awful time

OP is a faggot he forgot the comma sign. The switch will sell 10,7 million units
>3DS is a failure
>Wii u was a failure
>Switch will be a failure
Kek, Sony always win and Nintendo always lose

Remember when we had this same thread with wii u and people thought it would be a huge success?

THIS THIS THIS
>No 3rd party games
>Shitendo rehashes
>No Sony exclusives
Kek Nintendo will soon be bankrupt

how many pages are you at now on the archive

Since Apple has all the parts I wonder if they have all the suicide nets as well

Sorry Akbar but in first world countries we use decimals

I actually went and bought a switch just because I got tired of his anti shilling. Christmas present for my cousins I suppose.

60-70 million if it has a long lifespan, it's portability and Pokemon will keep it competing for a while

More

60-110m

Considerably less than the PS4. It won't break 60 mil. I say 35 mil, tops. And that's being generous. Momentum will come to a halt once it passes 10 mil and all the obsessive fanboys own one.

For a console to be a success it needs to break 60 million. It will never do that.

Yes, because Switch has no games.

sounds familiar

/thread

>70m as the max
Really? The 360 and PS3 both passed that. Consider that the Switch is handily outpacing both of them, and the 360 was irrelevant in Japan.

The Switch is gonna have pokeymans, too.

>10 million fans
>Nintendo
That's lowballing it by 50 million or so. Pokemon by itself sells like 15 million guaranteed

>Switch is handily outpacing both of them
Except it's not you delusional fanboy.

Let me know how the console is doing after 10 million are passed.

Please, dear god, some screencap all these posts.

Only 13 million bought a WiiU, not 50 million, try again.

>Sup Forums was wrong as usual
why is this news?

wii is the only nintendo home console that sold over 70 million
handheld sales are way down because of smartphones
3DS is at 66 million and it's dying already

3DS outsold PS4.

40 M

and that's being generous

NO GAMES

>can't keep up with demand

it's all over the place in the Midwest and everywhere in Europe

>a handheld only sold 6 million more than a home console and will be surpassed before the end of the year
>oh no

What does the PS4 have anything to do with anything anyway? If you wanna accurately measure at how many consumers are totally LOCKED to Nintendo, just look at WiiU sales, that's why I brought it up. Until that number is surpassed, there's no point in trying to make any predictions based on momentum for the Switch.

You got roughly 10 million people who will gobble up and overhype any Nintendo product on sight, before they've gotten their fix making predictions is a moot point.

It's impossible to make any accurate predictions on the Switch based on its current track record, more than anything though, if it wants to stay alive long term though, it's gonna needs GAMES, and it's not doing so hot there.

I want to say around 70 or so

>first year
>14
>Second year
>16
>Third year (price cut)
>18
>forth year (revision)
>12
>Fifth year (support winding down, Nintendo announces successor for next year
>8

Discontinued in the 6th year

You are delusional
>>first year

8
>>Second year
5 and a price cut
>>Third year (price cut)
10
>>forth year (revision)
who knows
>>Fifth year (support winding down, Nintendo announces successor for next year
doubt it, if it's successful, it'll get midgen revisions like the 3DS and be kept alive long, if it's not, it'll get gutted like the WiiU

Plus, you have to keep into account that the PS5 will likely come out 2020, which will kill a lot of buzz for the Switch, that, and the PS4 will continue to get games well into 2022 and more.
