Only reason I would believe it is because Injustice 2/Tekken has clearly taken some of the SF base away and Capcom wants to respond with something good. A SSFV would certainly fill that need.

I bought the Bipson battle outfit. I will most likely buy the Akumer nostalgia outfit, too. I want more options for characters I play and I can support the game that way.

So why is Tekken dying then. PC Playerbase went from 16k to 4k, and we're talking about 20 days since launch here.

What with this Tekken 7 dying meme? A massive drop off like that is normal for any game. You can be sure that on PS4 is an even larger drop off, probably around 70%.
