Which one is better?

Which one is better?

Demon Souls.

this fucking thread again, they are both shit, linear and fucking repetitive, get a better taste

3 has better bosses so that one.

Dark Souls 3 hands down. Bloodborne has poor enemy and area variety.

BB by far

I've beaten dark souls prepare to die edition, bloodborne and recently dark souls 3 from the summer sale and dark souls 3 feels linear. Out of all of the action RPG titles I feel Dark souls Prepare to die edition is the best out of all of the
games and definitely my favorite

3

I've only played Bloodborne and I've got no intention of playing any others in the series.

I lol'd when I discovered a core game mechanic is the ability to summon 2 players to do anything remotely difficult for you - not that you need to, given you can just run past 99% of enemies without getting touched.

Why you people think it's some sort of hardcore game, I'll never know....

I went in blind and platinumed it 10 days, never having played a Souls game before.

DS3 in every way.

Bloodborne is a better game as a whole, but dark souls 3 has some very good high points, it can't compete with the thematic consistency that bloodborne has.

BB bosses suck ass

...

Dark Souls 3 obviously. Nips know that it's a superior game cause they're not sonybros.

BB has way better art direction, setting, music and weapon movesets/fluidity of action.
DS3 has better bosses (especially in vanilla game), build variety, online and level design.
Overall BB wins by a small margin purely thanks to its incredible setting but i like both of them.

I prefer Bloodborne by a fair margin. More interesting area design, more originality (both in mechanics and theme), combat feels way more fluid, and trick weapons are just way more satisfying to use than weapon arts.

I will give than DS3 has some pretty good high points, especially in boss design. Though if you we include DLC then I think BB wins in that too with The Old Hunters bosses.

>Better bosses
I think they have the same amount of good, bad, and overrated.

Excluding DLC, Bloodborne has only a few really stellar bosses.
Gascoigne, Gherman, Logarius, and Ebriatas are the only ones that are both fun to fight and interesting thematically. You might be able to make an argument for Blood-Starved if you take into consideration how early into the game you encounter him.

Watchdog, Shadows, and Abhorrent are all decent (and still not fantastic) fights but boring thematically. Wet Nurse, Micolash, One Reborn, and Rom are all boring fights with great atmosphere.

I said it in the past back when this wasn't even a question and now it's finally happening, mustards are gonna try and push das3 up on some invisible pedestal past BB.
Are you people serious? Do you think this soulless, painfully dull almost cashgrab of a game can compete with BB and the old hunters. Give me a break.

And in case you forgot.
>Dark Souls 3
>shortest game
>bonfires out the ass
>filled to the brim with shitty references
>massive amounts of on-disc cut content that will be sold as DLC
>rehashed areas in an already short game
>the worst, newbie/scrub favoring invasion system yet
>no arena
>Heavy armor sucks
>Armor variety is less than DS2 BASE game, despite copypasting a 3rd of the armors from previous games
>Magic needs 2-3 ring slots just to dish out melee level damage
>Magic itself does reduced damage for PvP
>removes a shit ton of spells from the previous game
>awful scaling balance
>FP is the most awful casting management system introduced yet (worse than DeS mana, which had better regen options and more efficient)
>FP horribly ineffiecent with damage, ends up causing everyone to use 1 or 2 FP efficient spell like Great Heavy Soul Arrow
>Miracles awful, best and most viable one locked behind the final boss
>bland NG+
>awful covenants
>no blue eye orb
>blue sentinels and darkmoons the exact same
>left hand weapons no longer have full movesets
>dual wield weapons are gimmicks
>boss weapons can’t be infused
>Straight Swords and Curved Sword are as fast as daggers
>Great Weapons are slower than previous games, and costs more stamina, while barely doing more damage
>1-2 Weapons ALWAYS the best in class, no redeeming qualitys for special weapons resulting in less weapon variety than BB
>very little moveset variation
>WA are mostly shit or copypasted powerstance moves
>No backstep i-frame
>rolls have too much i-frames and cost too little stamina
>bloodborne enemies catered to R1 spam from ss and cs
>hexes gone and dark magic is shit
>shittiest dragon form
>no dragon covenant
>refined/hollow completely dominates
>DLC has so far been shit
>19 bosses, a good chunk being gimmicks
>linear level design, less branching options than DeS, DS2, and even BB
>b-but the DLC will save it!
>b-but other games have faults!
lmfao

Dark Souls 3 desperately tries to be Bloodborne with the gameplay. It works in PvE but as soon as you fight another player, the best thing to do is back away with a good shield and throw random hits with a straight sword.

Dark Souls 3 is basically Diet Bloodborne, with more weapon choices but still extremely boring moves. It's not a bad game by any means, just inferior to Bloodborne due to it copying only half of the gameplay elements from BB. Hell, invading in Bloodborne is better evn with the dumb bell system, simply because you can't get auto-stunlocked to death by Host McFaggot and his 3 butt-buddies.

For your sake I really hope this is a copypasta

Or maybe it's ps4 buyers trying to justify their purchase of a soulsgame that isn't anything special.

None of them are good

What are the good DaS3 bosses? I'll give you a hint, there are only three and they each could have been cut content from BB.

not that user but I played DS3 on PC before I played Blooborne. BB is by far the better game.

It would be really nice to have one of these topics without it devolving into petty console war bullshit

Both are overrated pieces of shit

BB > everything

They're both glorified action games with hardly any trademark RPG elements.

aw the wet nurse was intense and if you were following the story/lore it was exceedingly interesting.

and fighting amygdala?! theyre snatching you off the streets and then suddenly your in a fight with it. that was epic but kinda in a bland enviroment

A bit of these complaints are just
>the worst, newbie/scrub favoring invasion system yet
The ammount of crutches they give to the host while invading is just stupid. Literally no punishment for gank squads.
>heavy armor sucks
Was it ever any more balanced?
>Magic needs 2-3 ring slots just to dish out melee level damage
What else would you really use those slots for but to boost magic?
>removes a shit ton of spells from the previous game
And they could still remove a lot more of the redundant garbage.
>Miracles awful, best and most viable one locked behind the final boss
Pure healing build for npc summons works very well.
>Great Weapons are slower than previous games, and costs more stamina, while barely doing more damage
You want more damage from weapons when you just bitched that magic doesn't do enough too. Those heavy weapons also ignore spells and light weapon attacks while swinging.
>rolls have too much i-frames and cost too little stamina
If they cost any more that would destroy magic builds. Why would you complain about both of these things.
>19 bosses, a good chunk being gimmicks
What the fuck does this even mean?
Cherry picked but there are reasonable issues.
