I never understood why everybody plays games like this. Roblox apoc rising is better in every aspect but graphics, despite being a fan made part of a children's video game. Some friends showed me it, never looked back.

My specs aren't even that great and it runs absolutely fine for me, what's your problem with it?

Whenever I load the lobby, the frame drops from 60 to 30. Then When I drop from the airplane, I'm just stuck there with this irritating wait for it to become steady and then its just CONSTANT stuttering. The stuttering is what absolutely bothers the hell out of me.

I usually get around 70-80fps on high but there will be random framedrops down to like 10-20fps.

So I usually run it with about 50/50 medium and high settings

SLI performance in this game is worse than single card performance. It only uses 50% of each GPU and adds tons of microstutter. Apparently they need to update to a newer version of UE4 to have better SLI support.

Is it worth trying if I have no friends?

Its fairly common occurence to not have it run that good. Its takes until I get on the ground for the game to run smooth. Takes forever to load up the game, and sometimes slows down my computer once I turn it off

It seems like every game I try to run, runs flawlessly with my build. i just have an i5 6600 and a 960. i don't know if my parts are just horny for eachother or what but I never have problems. Especially not with pubg

It's one of those games that doesn't even look good but for some reason you can't play it on anything but medium settings, no one plays it on max anyways because it's also one of those games where if you turn everything down, bushes/grass vanish

Really badly optimized. Even with 300Mbps tier internet and an amazing PC I still get massive fucking lag and "network lag" everytime I open my inventory. Crazy that I only get this "network lag" when I open my inventory. Plus it drops frames once every 3 minutes or so.

That said it's a pretty fun game with friends since you generally just scavenge for guns and go on a road trip to go ruin other people's fun by killing their friends.

Honestly, I am fine with it in its present state.

Doesn't work if you do it in the in game settings, but you can still go into the game's folder and fuck with the graphical settings in there, just be sure to set the file as "Read only" and it'll work in game, most people do it.

If you got a good computer buy it. It's worth the money. Duo/squad is much more fun than solo. Ignore these faggots saying it's optimised like shit. It's early access so yes, it isn't optimised, but two months ago I had half the fps on the starting island, 20 less in game. It's getting better.
Camping is way too easy and common though, I'm starting to get bored of it, doesn't fit my idea of 'hunt players down on a huge island'. I really don't know how people have fun hiding under a window half an hour. I think adding first person only servers will resolve the issue completely .

We go straight for school, and I'm thinking I'll just rambo my way into a kill or two and then get off. Got 4 kills in the school to start. I had a friend coming over and didn't really have the time for a long game, so I just rambo'd my way into every situation. Any time I heard gunshots I'd go charging in at people with reckless abandon. Our duo ended #2 and I had 10 kills, partner had 5. most of the people we killed were little bitchbois that were hiding behind rocks, so hunting is definitely still viable.

It's not a special trick if you watched the video, you literally go into the video settings IN GAME and turn the foliage down to ultra low, it's built right into the game
